This was an unplanned impromptu stay for 1.5 days between flights. We only had time to see the Botanical Gardens and the Heard Native American museum. Both were excellent! We would like to come back and explore the old town and other areas in the future.

We will be here for a few more weeks. We have been hiking and we love it. Early morning is great, would not hike after noon, far too hot. Traffic is great, easy to get around. Beautiful views, NO tall buildings so feels open. Air is clean. Will come back

Scottsdale was the perfect winter getaway.
Scottsdale was the perfect winter getaway. We enjoyed the Old Town and many restaurants to choose from. Would recommend The Mission, Olive and Ivy and Culinary Dropouts. Make sure when making reservation at Culinary Dropouts that you know there are two locations. We reserved at The Quarter which was further away but still delicious with a fun vibe. Couldn't get in to the closer location on E. Scottsdale as they were fully booked.
Visited the Desert Botanical Gardens, and hiked the Lost Dog Wash trail to the Taliesen Outlook. 5.1 miles with awesome views surrounded by cactii. Too many trails to choose from but Lost Dog is a short drive from any location. Scheduled two hiking days, a spa day and a poolside day and it was just right!

Scottsdale is great place for slow travel.
Scottsdale is great place for slow travel. The streets are not crowded, every venue has complimentary valet, and there's indoor and outdoor adventure. We especially liked ROC the Mic Karaoke in Glendale and Hot Air Balooning in Scottsdale, Toca Madera in Scottsdale, Cala in Scottsdale, and the Phoenician Spa in Scottsdale.
I booked this as a last minute option for somewhere in the Tempe/Scottsdale area. On arrival and seeing the pool area I actually remembered that I'd stayed here before some years ago. I think it may have had some small renovations over the years. Everything about this hotel is fine for a short stay. Room was a good size, bed very comfortable and there's a fridge/freezer. The location is really good, very close to Tempe and downtown Scottsdale is only a short drive too. The area felt safe enough.
Location to Scottsdale Old Town was only a few blocks away which we walked to, great location. The whole purpose of our stay was to walk to Old Town.
It looked a lot further away on the map but was pleasantly surprised it was much closer.
The breakfast was good, hot breakfast-had waffle machine for either Red Velvet or regular flavor, both were great.
Beds were clean.
Our room was quiet, it was facing the rear of the building.
Great resort.
Wonderful villas.Very good pool sometimes loud with drinking people.
Room excellent, very clean.Very friendly cleaners.Reception staff very kind.Very good option in walking distance to Old Town.
Near restaurants and hikes.
Good parking a few steps from your door but a bit small for bigger cars.
Very beautyful and peaceful garden.Nice evening lights in the trees.
One from the best options in Scottsdale.
This is a new hotel in the chain and I regularly stay at this chain. This particular property is very low on guest service, very poor quality bed and the construction is cheap. I like the chain, just not this hotel. Have extremely low expectations if you choose to stay here. What's good - is that it is in a great location - with lots of dining, shopping, attractions and easy access to the freeway.
Walked in the room was very nice, clean, absolutely perfect , very quite, laid back, the price was cheap, to b honest wasn't expecting such a great room ,we've stayed in some pretty expensive hotels , and not one of them wasn't as nice as this was. I would differently tell all my friends and family that this is a very good place to stay, thanks for making our stay a very wonderful experience
This hotel is a spacious enclosed compound right off Scottsdale Road close to everything. Once you are inside it is practically resort-like, with a fantastic pool as a centerpiece, beautiful landscaping and an aviary (yes, an aviary) to mask neighborhood and traffic noise. Complete mid-century vibe, almost out of a time capsule. Parking is adequate but not secured. Pretty unique place.
This hotel is outstanding. This was my 2nd time visiting and it's where I will be staying on my next trip to Scottsdale. The pool area is beautiful. The staff are friendly and hospitable. The Speakeasy bar is great fun with fantastic cocktails. Our room was cleaned every day and the bed was so comfortable. We had everything we needed for a great holiday. Also the food is great too.
Location, location, location. The best location for staying in Old Town Scottsdale and not paying an arm and a leg for very good lodging. It's nothing fancy, but comfortable and convenient. It's too bad the hotel will be closed permanently later this spring, and razed to allow for construction of apartments and shops (confirmed by current employees).
Room was comfortable, the garden of the resort lovely and the two pools beautiful. The entire Hotel is located in a lush garden full of flowers and palm trees. The lobby area is very tastefully designed. Airport transport was effeciently organised and worked perfectly. Starbucks coffeshop in the lobby.
Very friendly staff! The whole hotel was incredible! Great room, great pools and great restaurants. The pizza by the pool might be one of the top 10 pizzas of my life! Loved being so close to Old Town, and the shuttle service was key to enjoying the night out without driving.
We liked that it was close enough to old Town Scottsdale and walking distance to everything. It was really nice facility and the staff were nice. Bar area was kind of small but over all nice weekend for us.
This is an incredibly nice hotel we will definitely visit here again. Good location to Central Scottsdale. Suite was very nice. I really like having a walk-in shower over a bathtub when I visit a hotel.
Stylish and comfortable hotel next to Scottsdale Old Town. Big room with terrace facing the Civic Center park. Nice on-site coffee bar and restaurant. Coffee machine in the room.
The hotel was located close to North Scottsdale Road and there was a good selection of restaurants around. The hotel did let us have an early check in that was appreciated!
