The location of the Budget Inn was perfect if it had been...
The location of the Budget Inn was perfect if it had been cleaner!! Recommend The Deck bar and grill best food and prices on the whole trip!! The Budget Inn should report that there are permanent residents among its guests staying there!! And have designated rooms just for guests and not permanent residents!! A lot has changed but navigating St. Pete was easy just leave 10-15 minutes early to adjust for heavy traffic.Neal - 10Scored 10

The city is a beautiful city with parks and lights at night.
The city is a beautiful city with parks and lights at night. Lots of cafes and restaurants. They have lots of cultural things to do museums etc, They have sporting events and music events. The town feel safe to roam around in. It was easy to drive into and get around in. We had a wonderful breakfast at Cassis. We will come back again.

John's Village Pass is enjoyable. Nice shopping. Beaches, sunset is nice. The food is great at most restaurants. I will not visit this area again unless I buy property for it is expensive for accommodations. Hubbard's fishing is always good.

We took in a trip to an interesting museum. We walked a bit. Hotel guest services reached out to me before the trip to give info on the hotel/resort and asked if we were celebrating any special occasion. I returned his email with an affirmation of our special event and we were surprised with a bottle of Prosecco and some macarons when we arrived.

Across the street from the Bay with a beautiful view (but not from my room) and in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg. We parked the car on arrival and did not use again until we left. Very walkable area. They also have a nice outdoor restaurant downstairs, and a rooftop Canopy bar where you can enjoy the view. Despite the bar downstairs and rooftop, we did not notice any noise in our room.
