Good location, walking distance to beach and restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff. Price was fair. We were happy with our stay. Close to cruise port. Make sure you request the newer, larger rooms when you book if you want the king bed and upgraded bathroom, like in the photos. Costs a bit more but was very comfortable. Coffee and water provided.

The magnificent staterooms, the art deco architecture, the fabulous artwork, and the fascinating history of this great ship. My wife and I truly felt like royalty for a weekend and it was absolutely magical. I could not imagine a more romantic getaway.

the Extended Stay was filthy and poorly staffed.
the Extended Stay was filthy and poorly staffed. There was marijuana smoke in the hallways and the room telephone did not work. The kitchen was not sanitized, and we felt unsafe-will never stay there again and booking.com does little in representing you as a customer.

We were getting on a cruise and wanted to unwind ahead of it and get over jet lag (we were travelling from Australia). We stayed on the other end from downtown and the terminal. We had great access to the beach and the restaurants around here were great. Lots of little, what appeared to be mostly family owned. The neighbourhood was just that - a neighbourhood. Felt safe and lots of friendly people around. We did spend some time up near the cruise terminal with family who booked in a large well known hotel. It was way more sterile without the great restaurants and shops and certainly didn’t feel like a neighbourhood.

I like Long Beach a lot, but a visitor has to do some research because the amount of sights, restaurants, and events are just too many to list. Every time I go to Long Beach I make a new list of restaurants to experience.

If you stayed in Belmont Shore in the last couple years there was decline in the area. Belmont is back, new restaurants and shops have opened. Much less homeless, more police and security. I felt totally comfortable on the latest trip.

Long Beach is a city that has lots of attractions.
Long Beach is a city that has lots of attractions. The Queen Mary Alamitos Beach, Shoreline Beach Rose’s Dog Beach. The Pike at Rainbow Harbor,Aquarium of the Pacific. The restaurants and bars on Pine Street in downtown Long Beach offer an abundance of variety. Long Beach is family friendly and so much more, love this city!
My room at Hyatt Centric the Pike at Long Beach was comfortable. The amenities offered were a work area, a flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge, and a large bathroom.
The hotel's location is situated in a dynamic downtown area of Long Beach. This provided me with easy access to a variety of entertainment, dining, shopping, and cultural attractions. conveniently located. I especially liked that it is located near the Long Beach Convention Center and the Pike Outlets.
The bed was comfortable and provided a restful sleep experience.
My partner and I stayed here for just one night after going to a music festival in Long Beach. We wish we could have stayed for more than one night because the hotel is very cute and in such a great location! Jose helped check us in before noon and was very kind and helpful. He let us park our car before check-in and he put our bags in the room when it was ready which was great. We would love to stay here again.
This historic hotel in downtown Long Beach is an absolute gem! The decor is elegant, blending modern amenities with historic charm seamlessly. Its central location makes exploring the city a breeze, and the exceptional service truly makes you feel valued. I highly recommend it for a unique and memorable stay in Long Beach.
Nothing. This hotel is not worthy of staying open. This is a nice location in downtown Long Beach and that is why I chose it. They need to clearly state the amenities offered on your website and their website are not available and the hotel is a one star hotel at its best. Simply awful.
When I Booked this reservation it placed this hotel near long Beach Airport. I needed to be away from the fireworks because I had a heart attack and a stroke, the loud noise is to much for me. Very disappointed to see prostitution and drugs activity going on out side of COVE HOTEL!
We really enjoyed our staycation , we live 13 miles away and get away to Long Beach beach when we can , I was very impressed but only by hotel itself but the staff from the guys at the valet area to the housekeeper everyone was happy and made us feel welcome and happy .
I paid for the upgrade for Newley renovated room and it was very nice. The hotel has changed. I stayed here 1 year ago and left a terrible review but then noticed they renovated and have it a try and they really changed everything! Will be back
The location in Long Beach is amazing. I was able to walk to the beach, get coffee in the morning, get food, and meet up with friends at whatever bar.
The room was updated and gave a very good impression. The bed and pillows comfortable.
Great location for us, within walking distance to a lot of places to eat and close to the Catalina Ferry. Great hotel with shopping nearby. Great staff comfortable rooms. Hyatt's hotels have never disappointed me.
Very modern property, room was reasonably spacious. Hotel was close walking distance to restaurants and attractions such as aquarium, harbour tours and shopping precincts. Wifi and bottled water complimentary.
Everything was awesome. Beautiful hotel. The small restaurant/ bar was cute, clean and elegant. The food was delicious. The beds are super comfy. We'll definitely stay here again when we're in Long Beach.
Stayed there for a business trip. Well located hotel, comfortable rooms for two people. Friendly staff. Nice area in Long Beach, close to restaurants, Shoreline Village, and the beach.
