Grand Junction, CO is so beautiful! The surrounding mountains are awesome! The Colorado National Monument is an easy drive and WORTH it! The locals are very friendly and so helpful! This is a destination everyone should experience at least once! Don't forget to see Palisade which is 10 miles up I-70. They have the BEST peaches (June-August) I have EVER tasted!!! Pesche Restaurant is a must!

McCalister’s Deli is great and so is The Dream Cafe on Main Street .. the owner is very nice .. traffic is at a minimum compared to Los Angeles .. it’s so easy to get around Jumction .. Downtown Grand Junction had several breweries and restaurants that were dog friendly. We also visited several wineries which were 15-20 minutes from downtown GJ. Colorado National Monument was only 15-20 minutes away as well.
