The rooms are disgusting, the photos shown on their website and booking.com are fake. I challenged the staff to show me a room in the pictures and they couldn't. It is a big scam. The hotel was recently converted into a migrant shelter and converted back into a hotel and you can tell by how dirty the rooms and just the carpets in the hall are. The staff are ridiculous, there were no towels in our room or a blanket on the bed. When I try to call front desk, no answer even though its marked as who you call in an emergency. Had to wait in line again for 45 mins to tell them the room was unacceptable for them to upgrade me to another unacceptable room with toe nails underneath the glass in the table. They never issued our deposit back. The hotel is full of crooks. I will be updating the conditions of this hotel on their new website themanhattantimessquare.com if you are interested in knowing more.....

The room was clean, comfortable and perfect for my needs. The location was excellent for its close proximity to Central Park for my grandchildren and close to the wedding venue at the Russian Tea Room.

I selected this property because it’s a NYC landmark property. I prefer the older hotels that have been renovated due to their larger size rooms.

The location is fantastic. Our room had a terrific view and lots of light. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Niya was very professional in explaining an issue related to our booking as was the manager, Adam. I very much appreciated that! The cleaning staff was also friendly and did a great job.
