I picked a hotel online in the area based on price and convenience. I expected the usual chain hotel. Drove past this place several times thinking we were getting the wrong address on GPS taking us back so we went in thinking they would direct us to place down the street place. But It was the right place. We were completely surprised. What a classy elegant place. We walked around like tourists in another country admiring the stained glass, the brass the marble, what a beautiful place. And the staff were so nice where you’re traveling make a detour and stay at this place. We will be back.

The rooms were beautiful with a great view of the city. Also, location was great walking distance.
The best was the staff. They were so effortlessly kind and service is top-notch! Loved the hot tub and all the amenities.

I wrote a review about this motel but it was the wrong hotel. This hotel was fine, clean, easy to get to. The review I wrote was supposed to be for the Quality Inn in Bulls Gap PA, off I81 @ exit 23. My apologies for writing about the wrong location.

Great staff. Clean, comfortable room.
Great staff. Clean, comfortable room. The breakfast bar was well stocked and offered cold cereal, fresh fruit, make your own waffles, coffee, tea and juices. I needed a document printed for an appointment the day I was leaving and the front desk was more than accommodating to print it for me!

We needed a place to stop overnight en route to NYC that was relatively affordable. This place fit the bill: An old roadside motel that has been nicely updated. Loved that there were actually hooks in the bathroom for our towels (and clothes while showering). However, there were no hangers -- I had to ask at the office. It's just off a major thoroughfare with a couple of plazas just up the road. We stopped at a supermarket that had decent prepared food options plus yogurt, OJ etc for breakfast. We appreciated that the round table in our room was big enough to spread out on. One warning for motorcyclists: The driveway is very steep. Drive up and around to the flat parking area!

Sleep Inn in Dunmore, PA is a terrible and unsafe place to stay. They permit homeless people to stay. Homeless are shouting and slamming doors in the hallways. Locks do not work properly. Sinks flood from broken faucets! They placed me in a room that previously housed homeless. There was a nasty stench! Upon finding out later that homeless could stay per state order, I promptly left in the middle of the night. Never again!

The listing was deceptive, the welcome terrible and the room...
The listing was deceptive, the welcome terrible and the room wasn't prepared for our arrival. Properly registered complaints with hotel staff identifying as "managers" were met with snide dismissal. We booked for a family of four and were promised two beds in a "King Suite". The second bed, however, was a sofa bed -- and a filthy one. That wasn't mentioned in the listing. Arriving at 10pm after a long road journey, my daughter was expected to make up her own bed, and the mattress was truly disgusting (see photo). They had not bothered to turn on the air conditioning, so the room was stifling hot when we arrived. The 150 ft walk from the elevator to the room didn't help, either.
Although we approached staff with respectful disappointment, the response was condescending and rude. "It's not our policy to make up sofa beds -- there's linen in closet," and "so the housekeeping staff forgot to turn on the AC -- is that really such a big deal?"
The breakfast was one grade above terrible -- a minimalist provision of high-carb offerings, plus some low-grade sausages and egg patties that tasted like rubber. They are careful to provide only tiny plates to encourage economy, just in case you enjoy the food too much.
We can't expect every road-side hotel experience to be excellent, and we are normally very careful in our reviews to point out if staff are friendly and accommodating, even if there are deficiencies in management or the facility itself. In this case we have drafted a detailed latter to Sleep Inn corporate.

Really not much to do, there’s a Sheetz which is probably my favorite part about Dunmore. The layout isn’t great for getting around and I wished the hotel I stayed at with my boyfriend was in a better/safer location, not hidden off the highway. I did like that it made for an easy trip to Dickson City when we wanted to do some shopping.
Very, very clean room! We were very pleased with the area and the dining establishments nearby. We were in the area for the NASCAR Pocono races and came across the Dunmore Inn. It was quiet and perfect for our stay of three nights. There was a microwave and a larger-than-normal hotel room refrigerator. The staff was pleasant and very accommodating. Our room was freshened up each day with clean towels, trash can emptied, etc. We would stay here again if we're ever back in the area.
This was the perfect enroute overnight stop - just off I-81; friendly, easy check-in, park right outside room. Simple, clean, attractive room with everything I like to find: luggage rack, fridge, microwave, tv, wi-fi, hairdryer. Slept well in comfortable bed - quiet all night. Great price and good value, especially since we arrived at 9:30pm and hit the road again at 8am... I am at a resort in Virginia right now, and the Dunmore Inn was quieter and better equipped.
The smallish hotel sign is overshadowed by the car dealer on the main street. The room had the basic coffee maker and refrigerator. Breakfast had fairly limited offerings but the attendant was very cheerful and helpful. The Italian sandwich shop in the nearby shopping center seemed to be the main restaurant in this stretch of town. Any other dining options required driving or delivery. Sufficient parking, but it did feel kind of isolated.
Room too dark Poor lighting No window!
No bathroom accessories, only conditioner, shampoo and hand cream No soap No body wash
Plenty of towels Staff was awesome but poorly trained Restaurant was great! Both for dinner and breakfast Poor bartender was a fill in and couldn’t make drinks but tried soooo hard, so sweet
The staff was amazing
I won’t stay there again with no windows
Staff were warm and welcoming. 😊😊
Good value for money. The room was modern looking with a TV, fridge and microwave.. It was very clean and comfortable and had pretty much everything we needed for our stay even though it was only for one night. We would have stayed longer at the Dunmore Inn if we hadn't had other plans on our road trip. Would definitely recommend it.. 😊😊
Breakfast (extra charge) was good with very good service. Did not know what we were expecting with regard to location. However, location was a little disappointing since the hotel appeared to be in what was predominating industrial area with very little by way of restaurants, points of interest, etc nearby.
Great rates, comfortable beds, very clean room and facility. Breakfast included sausage patties and links, egg omelets and a variety of muffins, cereals and miniature waffles. Front desk clerk was personable and knowledgeable about the area for dinner recommendations.
Plenty of elbow room in the King Suite we stayed in 304... excellent accommodations with a comfortable bed, quiet ac unit soothing shower, breakfast included. Dinners were good too. Would definitely stay again... super convenient to the Lost Trails just down the road.
The location of the hotel was in a good location near stores and fast food restaurants. The front desk gentleman was very nice and welcoming. Beds were comfortable. Check in and check out was very easy.
One of the cleanest rooms I've had in any lodging facility. The lady at the desk was professional and friendly. We would stay there again if traveling through the area.
I was not able to stay at this hotel because of traffic complications, I tried to cancel my reservation but was not able to reach anyone that could help
