Beds, bedding, pillows were comfortable. Location was excellent with close bus stops. The Silver Spring Station is very close and can be walked or you can catch a quick bus. Lots of good food and stores within walking distance. This area feels and looks a bit more safe with the lighting than some other locations we visited but you will still run into a few sketchy people. The water for a shower gets really hot if you turn it on properly. You have to turn the knob left and completely go past (cold) keep twisting until it stops and then twist it backwards- if you don't fully turn it, it will never warm up. There is an iron and board,, hair dryer, mini fridge, tv, Cuisinart coffee pot that can brew 1 or 2 cups at a time, a few packs coffee, creamer, 1 paper travel cup with lid, soap, shampoo, conditioner and an ice bucket with 2 glasses. There is a safe but we didn't try to figure it out. Elevators were clean and working. We never saw rodents or bugs. Restraunt cook was friendly and gave us extra creamers. There was an outlet beside 1 bed, double outlets on 2 lamps with 1 being used for the provided alarm clock. A/C was in working order but you will have to adjust it as soon as you go in as it feels like they wait until you arrive to turn it on. You can adjust the temperature and fan speeds. The joining rooms were quiet as well as the hallways but we believe there were not many people staying on our floor which was on the 10th level. The streets were pretty quiet for being a big city but a building was being demolished across from us so there was some noise in the mornings. We had a very nice view of the street from our big windows. There is a small round table you can move, a comfy office type rolling chair and a folding luggage seat.
