Neighborhood was questionable. Parking lot had multiple signs “management not responsible for break-ins”. We left and did not stay there

The breakfast was mediocre. The menu was the same both days: scrambled eggs and sausage. We paid a bit more for the room because it included breakfast, but it wasn't at value to justify higher pay.

Bossie City is ok but the Boardwalk is a complete failure.
Bossie City is ok but the Boardwalk is a complete failure. Five or so years ago it was a thriving shopping center now it is just a ghost town with a few restaurants and a Bass Boat store. It could return to its past glory with better management and a little quality marketing and rental recruitment. I have high hopes of its return.

I really didn't appreciate the fact that I booked and paid for a non smoking room with a king bed in advance and when I got to the property they didn't honor my reservation and gave me a room with double beds instead with no microwave or refrigerator!! Who does that maybe a lower rated hotel but I never expected that from them and they tried to charge me for an upgrade that wasn't my fault!!!

It probably could’ve been a really great opportunity.
It probably could’ve been a really great opportunity. This was our first visit ( and our anniversary). We experience began very well with the hotel receptionist, she went above & beyond.
The next day upon trying to check out, we had major significant problems and issues. The onsite Management team appeared to have a lack of clear management, leadership, communications. They literally lost my car! The Staff actually stated, “we are not able to find or locate it” We aren’t sure what happened. Hotel Staff stated they did not have it. I left it there with the valet attendant yesterday. Provided description, and the tag gave us.
It was not ever actually valeted BUT was left on the street, unattended with my personal effects inside, unlocked, and with the windows 1/2 down - Key fob inside!!
We were not happy for obvious reasons; however, until I told them we would be required to file with local state authorities and federal authorities due to living in Texas, and being in Louisiana.
They did not even make much effort to assistant not taking responsibility or offering to you know, replace repair or even reimbursed fees for my valet car that was left unattended on the streets of Shreveport with a State badge and ID in it, and definitely did not make me feel safe or secure. If I not had been with my husband, I am not sure I would’ve contacted local authorities to enlighten them of the city’s need of additional security.
I most likely would not recommend it to any one traveling alone, especially females but I also believe that everybody has bad days; therefore, I am not saying we personally would not possibly give this establishment the Ben of doubt and at least one more chance, Before stating I (we) will never return or recommend.
I did not like the fact that I drove from Roanoke Virginia to bowser city devotion city had a room reserved when got there found out they overbooked the hotel and did not have a room for me one of the people working the front desk was a b**** like b**** the other 1 was a very nice lady that helped us out.
The front desk worker was nice but very sick and coughing and I had to hand her my license. There was not so friendly people walking around the hotel, and most people who do are on drugs and live there (said an associate). And the rooms need to be remodeled or upgraded. I will not come back here at all.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was clean, it had full size stove with an oven and a fridge. It had central air and not a wall unit. It felt more like an apartment than a hotel room. I will stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel for extended stays or even staycation getaways.
My husband and I have stayed at this facility several times and we have never been disappointed. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. I had asked for a room on the bottom floor and they provided us with one.
Beds were comfortable. Slept really good. Didn't hear the neighbors. It was a last minute booking due hotel I was booked for telling me there were no rooms available and so glad they had rooms. The lady at check in was nice and quick.
I've been requesting for a full refund since I checked into this place an did not stay 8 hours, the bug, bed bugs, fifty room terrible, nasty place stay
Need my money back did not stay an had to book at other hotels
The hotel was so pretty on the inside and the room we stayed in was so spacious and nice. All the employees were super friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer than one night.
