Due to health reasons, we arrived to Kenting later than we had planned. It is definitely worth spending a couple of days there. The landscapes are so beautiful and the people and the vibe are so friendly and relaxed. If you are planning to enjoy the beach, I would recommend doing a small research beforehand, as not all beaches are accessible and swimmable due to the national park protection or because some beach areas are reserved for hotel guests.

Kenting was quite busy at night with the night market along the main street. There was a good atmosphere and lots to see and do.
We visited the lighthouse one day using the local bus. We had another day on the beach.
We ate at a local family restaurant in the evening which was frequented by locals. They served vegetarian food and local fish.( I did a Google review of the restaurant the name is in Chinese )

There are two beautiful beached in Kenting Avenue area.
There are two beautiful beached in Kenting Avenue area. Since Kenting Avenue is a commercial night street and quite pricy, not really worthy the price for street food. It's very convenient to take Kenting shuttle bus although it takes some waiting time and there is unfortunately no digital bus arrival announcement.

We wanted to do some hikes, which was possible and quite nice. Unfortunately, for our three days, we could not find as many hikes, as we would have liked to do.
The "volunteer" at the Visitor Center in Kenting was not helpful at all. We specifically asked for hikes (she spoke English), but she was not able to provide us with information, or at least to tell us, that the maps would be available at the respective gates.

It's getting more and more popular and it's getting more polluted too. It's getting to the point that some of the out of the way beaches are absolutely disgusting. A lot of the garbage comes from the ocean but people leave their garbage too-I saw a diaper left behind on one beach. Someone needs to organize a serious beach clean up!

Amazing place to stay in summer!
Amazing place to stay in summer! Nice beaches, amazing views, a lot of places to visit within 30 minutes of driving and one of the most amazing night markets in taiwan. Having a car is definitely the best way to get around.
it’s convenient, close to the busiest street and night market in Kenting, also it’s only 6 mins walk to the closest beach Xiaowan. we have a nice Mountain View room which is nice.
The service is great, the lady at the counter is very helpful and super friendly, although she only speaks a bit of English.
Good location next to Kenting beach 5 min walk from property and the bus stop was also 2-3 minute walk (Kenting Arch stop). The included breakfast was good. The night market was right out the front door. Property owners were friendly and helpful with directions. Scooter rental next door was convienent.
The leisure park offers a great space with mobile homes, we stayed in one which was fully equipped with an own bath room. We had our own terrace and woke up with a view on the mountains. The great Kenting night market (which you have to visit once) is just 7 min away, and the beach is also very close.
Lovely and helpful staff, room was large and curtains were a nice addition. Communal area had a fridge and hot/cold water machine. Super close to the non-swim area of the beach but very beautiful to walk around. Very central - right next to Kenting police station bus stop.
Very nice family running the business, I loved to chat with the lady she was always smiling and ready to help.
The room was very clean and thhe bed comfy.
I had lovely stay there, perfect to visit Kenting for few days.
All the best to you :)
Beautiful, spacious and spotless room. Owner was really helpful and friendly. Location is right beside night market and Xiaowan beach and just across the road from the Kenting express bus. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.
"The staff was kind and friendly, and they provided us with some travel recommendations. The location is perfect, right on the main Kenting street. All facilities are excellent, except for a slight bathroom drain odor."
Beautiful hotel across from the ocean and close to the main street night market and bus service. We had a little balcony looking at the sunsets and moon over the ocean. Very lovely.
Great location near the night market (very short walk), but far enough away to be quiet. Right across the street from the beach with an unobstructed view from the Juliet balcony.
Fantastic pool and lovely beach. Close to night market and national park. Gorgeous views from balcony. Spacious and well equipped rooms. Nice bathroom. Good breakfast.
Very near to Kenting Arch station, McDo, night market and the beach. The facilities are very nice. It seems pretty new. The room and bathroom are perfect!
Good location about 5min walk to the bus station and across the street from a park that faces the beach. Very kind owner. No power or hot water issues.
Location is great. Few minutes walk to Kenting street, and 1 min to the beach. In hotel we get card for free parking, which is also very close to hotel.
