The hotel is an easy walk into the Old Town. The room was spacious and there was a lot of space to hang clothes and open our luggage. The staff were very friendly and the wifi was good. The parking was free and right outside the door of the hotel which was very handy.

Nice and comfortable apts, very clean and cozy. The location is great, very close to everything you need. We had a question about parking, the owner consulted and called us back to clarify if everything was fine.

Life is very quiet on the main Plaza where there are no cars circulating. There are no traffic lights on the streets. There are coffee places all around restaurants where you can have typical food from Slovakia.
Banská Bistrice is a city with a Soul - people are curious and friendly (I speak a bit of Czech).
One afternoon there was a grandma lady explaining to 15-20 grandmoms about the charmings of the city.

Our stay has been enjoyable.
Our stay has been enjoyable. There is not much around the main square, but it is a very nice and quiet city. Foreigners are rare, but the locals usually speak English and do their best to make you feel good. The restaurants we visited had okay prices and very good food. The main issue is that the city is not very accessible unless you have a car

It is a very captivating town.
It is a very captivating town. Big, nice main square with beautiful sights but also worth to walk on the crossing streets. Surrounded with nice green hills. There are surprisingly many good cafés, bars, bistros - and you can get exciting beer at many corners. Quite a few Banská Bistrica related craft beers and regional beers are to get. Nice people to meet at many places.
And the whole ambience of the town is worth to experience, at least once. I want to return.

Great evening meal if you arrive before 8pm. Very high quality hotel with amazing grounds including swimming pool, rock gardens, mini golf, and a treetops adventure course for the brave. The room was excellent with a gentle stream running outside Breakfast was about €7 and excellent. The staff were so friendly and happy to help. And such good value for money.
Location is perfect, just few steps from the park and few minutes from the centre. The apartment feels very welcoming. The window seating is so amazing. There is a small gym in the hotel that is included, which is not fully equipped but will surely do for keeping in shape. Free parking is a great advantage. The host seemed nice and helpful.
perfect location in the heart of Banska Bystrica, even not 1 minute walk from the main square. Very clean, spacious and well-equipped room. The guy at the reception so professional and helpful who understand perfectly the meaning of the word "hospitality". Hope to come back there very soon with my friends.
This is a quaint hotel. The building is older and the rooms are small, but the location is very close (walking distance) to the main strip with shopping, restaurants, etc. Parking was plentiful and right next to the hotel.
The rooms, hotel terrace, restaurant were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. The owner went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. Definitely recommend to book the stay with breakfast!
The breakfast was very good and nice served. The location of the hotel is also well, there is only 15 minutes by foot from the city center. There is a nice park near to the hotel, it is ideal to relax.
