Great spot in Victoria, amazing views from the accommodation and next door to one of the best restaurants we visited in Mahe, Marie Antoinette. Room was very comfortable and breakfast provided was really good with a great selection of food.

EVERY THING at this establishment was excellent. From reception to leaving I was well taken care of. This place reminded me of an old Cuban Plantation Home. It was beautiful, open and with grate views of Victoria. I was only there one day and was very well surprised. I HOPE that I can get back there one day.

The owner was very helpful when we checked it. We only stayed two of the three nights. The owners were easy to work with. Water and snacks were provided. Parking was provided & the rooms were clean. The surrounding forest was a lush tropical paradise. They provided a nice breakfast.

Cleanliness, view and the owners made us feel welcomed
Victoria city is a clean and safe city. City start winding down as early as 5pm. Central Market, museum, beaches around, great local and international foods. Easy to navigate the city. Car rental available at good price.

Variety of shops. Safe. Cultural. Food is expensive. Beautiful lush terrain. Humid. Bus is best way to travel. Reasonable. When you change buses you have to pay fare again (12 rupees). Cabs are expensive. Many pharmacies if required. Locals are friendly, helpful. Bus service good M- F and Sunday. Minimal Saturday. Not much open Sunday.

Victoria was easily accessed, there were many markets and most people spoke English. There are frequent rain showers that lasted a few minutes which is a relief as it is hot and humid most of the time. The restaurants were great but for South Africans it worked out expensive to eat and drink. There were far too many cars on the road and simply no parking available in Victoria. lovely sights and scenery . The roads that lead over the mountain give way to absolutely breath taking views. The local busses and their drivers were a menace on the road but they provided value for money public transport.

Not the type of capitol city many of us are used too.
Not the type of capitol city many of us are used too. You'll see it all within 2 hours. The tourist offer is pretty slim at best, while any tourist related item prices are very steep. In Seychelles, it's the beaches you'll enjoy, not the city atmosphere.

Victoria is ok, but we spent most of our time renting an apartment (Villa Bella) on the North East point, which was perfect for us. The North East point is far away from any touristy areas, so you'll need a car, which I'd recommend anyways to go to the different beaches, trails, supermarket etc. So stay elsewhere than Victoria is my advice!

As the capital of Seychelles, Victoria is a must see.
As the capital of Seychelles, Victoria is a must see. It is the cultural centre of the country. But the restaurants are very average to poor.
Be prepared to pay tourist rates for everything and forget about coffee, there is none that is drinkable.
For those in a hurry, two days is enough to see Victoria.
The apartment was spacious, was super modern and clean, and had a washer and dryer. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and they included thoughtful touches like water, milk, and juice in the fridge. The location is ideal — a 10 minute walk to the ferry terminal, 10 minute walk to the bus terminal, and less than five minutes’ walk to Victoria Market, the post office, and the clock tower. The apartments are on a secure floor where you need a specific elevator code, so it felt very safe. I would definitely stay there again!
Our two-week stay was outstanding. Although not a 5-star hotel, it's an ideal choice for budget travelers. Very clean with a breathtaking view and close to the most beautiful beache Beau-Vallon. Anne-Marie, our host, went above and beyond, providing valuable local insights, preparing for us a delightful Creole dinner, and even helping arrange a memorable fishing tour for my husband. Despite minor inconveniences like a short steep hill to reach the accommodation, it was an outstanding experience overall.
Maka Bay was a wonderful surprise for us.
Staff is kind and always available to help with suggestions and reservations. The owner also shared with us a lists of activities which were taking place during our stay.
The room was super clean, with a beautiful view on the ocean and lot of space.
It was full equipped in case you want to prepare your meals.
We spent 5 incredible days at Maka Bay and we fully recommend it.
It’s important to rent a car if you want to visit the island
The room that we got was HUGEEEE with the best view on Victoria bay. Very close to the main street in MAhe. Great value for money. The staff is super friendly and nice. The breakfast was exceptional. The staff went out of their way to help us post check out by renting the room for an hour (for a nominal fees) next evening just to freshen up before our flight. A nearby restaurant, Marie Antoinette is a must try. Absolutely loved our stay.
There is an amazing view of Victoria, and also the property is recognisable if you are in the bay. We were able to walk down to Victoria, but it is a long way - 30+ minutes to the clock tower. The restaurant in the hotel is unpretentious but has good home cooking (I had the fish curry) at correct prices. Breakfast was plentiful. The hotel ordered a taxi for us as our timings were tight & this worked well.
Very spacious apartment, lots of space and very often. The villa is so big that there is enough space for 3 more people!!! Lots of privacy, no one disturbed us, so we recommend it to people who like peace and quiet. Right next to it is the beautiful Anse Kerlan beach. You can hear the waves even in the bedroom. Beautiful sunsets. We will definitely come back!!!!
We only stayed for one night but we loved it, we wish we could stay more. the facilities were great and everything was very clean and very tidy, the lady working there was very nice and anything we asked for she helped us with. It’s a great option if you’re not looking for a hotel and you want to cook for yourself and stay by the airport.
Andrew was an excelente staff, very kind and professional! The room was huge, with a very pleasant balcony overlooking the mountains and the Chef Island. Queen size bed with an orthopedic mattress! Excellent breakfast! Very good Internet! Very nice location, just above the Victoria’s city center, and a quiet place!
Our host Ricky was more than kind, helpful and professional. The apartments are new and sparklingly clean. The view from all the balconies was really nice and we enjoyed it for our morning coffee before we head to some of the beaches. We would definitely recommend this host and would be happy to visit again!
The apartments are on the top floor of this building. A quiet oasis in the midst of a busy town. The perfect location to explore victoria, a change from all the beaches! All the staff both in the office and housekeeping are extremely friendly and helpful. We couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else.
We really enjoyed the view from our room.
Everything is brand new in the hotel and the facilities inside the room were much appreciated.
The Manager, Mr Philippe was very friendly and helpful when we needed him.
I recommand this hotel which is well located if you want to explore Mahe.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We wanted something south of Victoria for a one night stay before we headed to the airport the following early morning. This property fit the bill perfectly. The wifi was excellent and the AC was perfect.
Excellent place in the nature very close to Victoria and all the beaches around. Very easy to reach with PAPAYA signboard on the road easy to detect. Love this place and its comfort. Very kind hosts could not have better 20/20
we really loved the view from our room and bed. The apartment is new and well equipped. There are a lot of nice beaches in the northwest, but make sure you‘ll rent a car. we booked from our hotel and recommend it.
Staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. The rooms were cleaned immaculately every day. Location was great, although recommend having a car. Rental available at hotel is required.
Surrounded by beautiful beaches, not far from Beau Vallon and Victoria, 30 mins max from the airport. Huge, spacious property with a lovely view. Shop right next door, very handy.
