Wedding, all night long, in the ground floor restaurant, very noisy and disturbing
We've left email address and phone number during reservation, yet not being informed about the wedding taking place that night, during reservation process! they told us about it only on arrival, leaving us no alternative to get another, more silent location. We've been able to sleep only after wedding (6 AM!). that day we had a long and difficult drive ahead! Not a really honest policy.

The hotel was not as described . 4 star with bar and restaurant. Bar was very limited and unstocked ,without ice. Restaurant remained closed all days during my stay and both of these was why I chose this hotel. I wish to make a formal complaint to you regarding this so please contact me.

The city has quite a culture, sure it needs investments in the face of the city and getting the historical buildings restored but what it lacks money wise it makes up in places to eat, drink , party and the people are the coolest and prettiest in the whole country. Do take my word for it. Braila, it's something else. Everyone here is handy and resourceful and you can see it very easily.

You can see most of Braila in a day if you're an active person, a weekend if you like to be slow-paced. It is not a bustling city so there's not much partying or any such activities, it is quiet and a bit old fashioned, if you're into that sort of thing.
The staff here are amazing!! I’ve been spending the last 5 months traveling around Europe for work. I’ve stayed in many hotels and this staff was by far the best staff I’ve worked with in all my travels. The whole facility is newly remodeled. The bathrooms are amazing, the beds and bedding are super comfortable, the breakfast is delicious, and the staff are enjoyable to work with and so accommodating. Anyone looking for a hotel in Bralia should stay here.
New one room appartment on the third floor of the old building. Very clean, bathroom with shower and toilet, kichen, with microwave, refrigerator, stove, bedroom with double bed and big closet. Excellent wifi. Self check inn, with clear instructions given. Right across the church. Taxis nearby, also a nice local restaurant on walking distance. Good central location, train station about 10 min. with a taxi, the Braila Mall about 15 min.
Is in the middle of the town, on a quiet street and in a very safe location, across from Police Station. Charming, restored, old building with all the modern amenities. Parking (on street) might be an issue, needs reserved parking spots, many locals seem to be parking around that location. Much better option than any local chains. Traian Hotel was booked and more expensive than this facility.
It’s a guest house on the opposite side from the hotel with a similar name, but we were allowed to use hotel’s parking, which was super nice.
The restaurant at the guest house worked till late so we could order late dinner - and pizza was even brought to our room.
It’s pretty clean, except for the shower which looked super old.
New facility, well designed and the attention to detail and quality products like bedlinen and bathrobe is fantastic. PArking in front of the hotel, kind, knowledgeable and smiling receptionists, great spa and overall feeling of 'welcome dear guest" is everywhere. Very happy I've chosen this hotel. I will return.
This place is located in a restaurant building. The single rooms on the top floor have a little balcony, bathroom, wifi internet, fridge is on the floor. For a one night-stopover to take the bus to Tulcea and continue by boat to Sulina it is a good choice.
The Danube promenade in Braila is worth a walkover.
it was welcoming and services were ok. It is a bit more expensive than the usual 3 stars hotels so I may not stay there in the future unless I need to be close to the railway station. There was an event downstairs but the music and everything stopped at around 1 am.
I had a wedding at the end of August and had several rooms booked here for out of town family and friends! They all confirmed that the hotel was very nice. Friendly staff, clean, good breakfast! They had the rooms with the Danube view which they really loved!
The breakfast is varied and included in price. The room is big enough and bed are very comfortable. The bathroom is equipped ok and clean. Towels and toiletries included. I recommend staying here if you need a place in Braila.
As always the staff were really friendly, the rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was good. This is my third stay and when in Braila I will continue to choose Saint Germain.
