When booked it says there's a bathtub, there's a kitchen in our two bedroom. It literally says in the room details:" In the well equipped kitchen..." It says it has a mini bar.. no it doesn't. So there was a lot of listed amenities that they actually don't have/provide. Very old and outdated furniture and everything around. Needs a total remodel

The proprietors…. Friendly, helpful.. always a smile for you. The property is very well maintained and as quiet as could be. The locale was beautifully situated in the hills. Gorgeous sunrise lit up the balcony and spilled into the room.

We had a kitchen so we made most of our meals.
We had a kitchen so we made most of our meals. That being said, groceries are not cheap in Jamaica!
Amazing seafood meal at Bashment bar and grill, a little shack on discovery bay beach!!! Don’t let the place fool you, it was the best seafood I have had near Runaway bay for a decent price.
Driving is not for the weak in Jamaica, it is a busy road often many delays and can take some time to get to where you are going.
But overall, such a beautiful country with the best people.

I liked the view, the general structure of the property.
I liked the view, the general structure of the property. I didn't like how lazy some staff seemed, specifically the person to whom complaints are filed. Attitudes of some female staff needs work.

Check-in was horrendous, it took them 1-2 hours to get us to our room. Be prepared for a reception that is not ready for guests and were almost surprised we turned up despite paying for the entire stay in advance. Fortunately, I had printed a hard copy of the booking otherwise I'd be spending the night sleeping on the beach. Phone the hotel directly was futile as they never pick up the phone. Surprisingly this was the same from the actual room. Security is pretty hostile to paying guests and if you have a car prepare for no parking spaces if you even get let in. On Fridays there is a Sound System outside the hotel playing at 80-90 decibels and the hotel does nothing about it go luck trying to get some sleep. The hotel has an empty disco playing at around 70 decibels till 2am every night. By the way noise above 70 dB over a prolonged period of time may start to damage your hearing. Loud noise above 120 dB can cause immediate harm to your ears. Be prepared to supply your own beach towels. Room towel and bed sheets are not changed daily. The was built in 1958 and the room safe is from the late 80s. Food is acceptable but they seldom have the national dish of Ackee and Salt Fish and the bar runs out of Wray and Nephew white rum by noon daily.

Amazing Stay at Jewel Paradise! The hotel was great with beautiful connected private beach. Lovely variety of restaurants (Jamaican, Italian, Asian) - all the food and drinks were delicious. Very fun water activities also included like kayaking and paddle boarding - Marlon was great! The second week we were there was ‘wellness week’ there was yoga ran by Suzanne and Natalie and water aerobics by Oran - all so much fun! Our room was extremely clean every day, Trudy-Ann was very lovely. Kenton and Romeo were also great!
My stay at this resort was absolutely amazing. The customer service was exceptional always! Everyone was so attentive and observant with regards to our needs. The grounds are so beautiful and every area and space makes you feel at peace and relaxed. There is also so much to do every day, on top of amazing food and drinks there are also daily activities and games to play as well. There is also lots of amazing entertainment at night. There is something for everyone at this resort. Had a brilliant time!
The location was convenient for me and since I had planned on being away from the apartment for extended time, this type of facility was ideal over an all inclusive option. Was there for 17 nights but visited friends and relatives in two other parishes, so was actually there for just about a third of my stay. I found the staff to be courteous and accommodating. I felt safe at this facility. I would definitely recommend here to someone who is interested in this kind of accommodation.
The worst experience we've ever had an we are travelers the worse just by saying this it's an all inclusive we went to bed hungry the lunch buffet 1hr an 15mins wait with uncooked hot dogs bad attitude no ice I swear the worse no towels was left in the room Ac blew out hot air no accommodation for my husband Birthday after leaving several messages it's the worst I'm very upset the whole resort NEEDS CUSTOMERS SERVICE TRAINING AN A ATTITUDE AJUSTMENT THE WORST EVER
The breakfast is amazing! It is so nice that Bailey caters to your taste and is considerate about allergies.
Also the view from the roof terrace is lovely, especially during sunrise/set. We encourage all guests to eat up there at least once.
We also enjoyed our morning jogs to Runaway Bay beach.
The hosts were exceptional, apart from the amazing breakfast, the conversation and overall hospitality was spot on.
We will definitely stay here again.
We were delighted to find our room so clean and well decorated. Antoinette had made towel swans and even a towel frog for our kids. She had filled the jacuzzi with rose petals in the shape of a heart and balloons. It was such a great welcome to a beautiful house with a beautiful host. She was always available to help and give advice. She walked with us and showed us all the shops, she even drove us to the beach and helped us with our laundry.
We loved it the environment was awesome, the rooftop view which we were told about upon arrival was not visited (we forgot) but Mr. Bailey reminded us just b4 we left well he asked if we saw it..we went immediately and man it was breathtaking the view, it overlooked the ocean plus the vegatation ( fruit trees) the colour contrast the decor the space man we r going back!
The home was lovely, very clean, modern, spacious, comfortable and out in a location where you really experience tranquility and peace. Safe parking, comfy beds and ac in rooms. I travel alot an this is one of the best locations locally and internationally. Nora the housekeeper is also very helpful, kind and attentive
The food was tasteless and was not prepared well. I checked in 5pm after waiting for an hour in the lobby and there was nothing to eat until 6.30pm as the buffet and grill was closedI was extremely hungry. For an all inclusive hotel this is a no no....
The hotel was super friendly, staff were outstanding in every way possible.
Lovely home vibes, the pool is great and the stunning views over the sea.
Studio was well equipped and spacious.
Resort felt safe and secure
