The hotel has the best location, where it is surrounded by lots of restaurants, stores, and beaches that are walking distance. Additionally, they have airport shuttle and taxis available at all time around the island even to the malls and several tourist sites.

I paid $40 more for this hotel versus another one because of the availability of airport shuttle. Before leaving Hawaii I had contacted the property and told them of my travel plans. I was very disappointed when I landed at 5 o’clock in the afternoon to hear that the airport shuttle was not available to pick me up. Also, when I checked in and requested to schedule an airport shuttle for the following morning, again it was unavailable! So I ended up having to pay $50 extra for a Taxi. The concierge confided in me that the airport shuttle is rarely available to anyone. I feel like this was false advertising.

Tumon is not a great place unless you are Japanese or Koraen looking to escape to a little bit of America ! we spent 4 days there as travellers or explorers and found some stuff to do but just a good rest and layover stop ! Give other places more time if you are a traveler !

everything was almost perfect, the room, location was excellent, the toilet and baths although looks old was working properly, water pressure was strong and hot water is aleays available, the place was quiet and the ambience was wonderful, i slept great during my entire stay.
the only issue i had is the wifi, the signal is not always available, but aside from that i can’t stop praising this place, i will definitely stay there again if i return to Guam

Abundance of varied restaurants within walking distance.
Abundance of varied restaurants within walking distance. The weather made it possible to enjoy walking to the Mall - about 25 minute walk. A lot of time was spent at the pool and the beach because most tourist activities were significantly curtailed or shutdown totally for Covid. A rental car is necessary as taxis and hotel transportation are very expensive.

Great area with easy access to many restaurants, shops and beaches. Some great places to eat: Uomaru Honten (Japanese ikakaya), Fuji Ichiban (ramen shop), Prego (Italian) at the Westin, Pizzakaya (gourmet pizza), Tree Bat at the Hilton, Red Lobster, and Sinaloa (Mexican).
Location to the beach and restaurants was excellent as well as the convenience of renting a car from the adjacent Dusit Thani resort. We stayed at Dusit Beach Resort towards the beginning and end of our trip while transiting through Guam. Three nights the first time and five nights the second. The room that we had during the 5 nights on our return trip was much better than the earlier stay with everything in the room functioning properly. Excellent onsite self-laundry available.
So when I checked in at 4 they told me my room was not ready and I thought I was going to have to leave a bad review but when I checked in my rate was lower than what I expected and that always will bring me back if it's business or pleasure grand plaza is my spot come to guam and enjoy the amenities of grand plaza thank you so much for a wonderful stay I will be back of course
there was constant running from the rooms above us even late at night. it was probably from kids running inside the rooms. it was quite annoying so we just drowned the noise by using earphones so we could sleep. but considering it was a family on vacation as well, we chose to just bear with it. overall, the hotel was still a great place to stay in.
-Great location. Amazing beautiful ocean is right in front. You can swim with fishes, no need to go anywhere for that.
-Almost any kind of Asian restaurant is walking distance.
-Everybody knows this hotel, anyone can pick us up.
-Spacious and not too commercialized in a good way.
I was able to relax and enjoy myself during my staycation. I was technically still on Guam, but it also felt like I was on vacation somewhere else. The hotel is very well maintained and there are a nice variety of things you can do to keep things fresh during your stay.
Location and Tony Roma’s, Jamaican Grill, and Thunder Chicken were great perks. I stayed for about 2 1/2 weeks at Royal Orchid Guam and I was extremely satisfied. The staff (Verna, KC, Paul, John, and the other young night dude were all awesome).
I was there for my honeymoon! It was super clean as it was the newest hotel on Guam. It was very convenient that the swimming pool was open until 10pm. Loved the beautiful ocean view and everything was perfect! Thanks!
We loved everything at the hotel. We went there for a "lazy" vacation, meaning we just wanted to lay near the water and enjoy the weather and some drinks. Everything was exceptional and we loved the staff.
View was nice; room appearance was pretty nice, too. The bed/bathroom was pretty stylish for a lower-cost hotel. Furnished pretty nicely. Lobby is attractive (even after a big typhoon).
