1. Great listening by the night supervisor (Spanish young lad)
2. Caring to know which room I was to reside by the same night supervisor of 27th April to help carry my load to the door as am old and breathing was a hustle

The location is what wins this property over: Walking distance from the beach, pubs and great views. Easy access to sights and towns around the SE UK. You have a cozy view of the English channel from the living room and bedroom. Great on park facilities. Pool is clean and constantly monitored by lifeguards. Deal is a charming, slightly decrepit town. It has some beautiful old lanes and houses. Very historic. Huge beach. Lots of coffee shops. Lots of individual interesting shops but needs investment to come to life. Shops and bars are mostly only open Thursday to Sunday. It has an abandoned feeling during the week. We really loved the fish and chips! There’s an amazing fish monger close to the town hall. It’s got a lot going for it but it’s not Salcombe or Southwold! It’s easy to get there on the train from St. Pancras station in central London. There are many holiday cottages. We saw people swimming in the sea in the morning. Cycling along the shore is popular and you can go for miles. There are things to do there. It’s got great possibilities. We really liked it.

I loved the people in this place so helpful and friendly, Recommend two cafes for a fantastic breakfast, The Kings Coffee and The Hog and Bean.
There are lots of charity shops and quirky shops to look around and a very popular bakery. On a Saturday there is a market. There is also a castle but unfortunately we didn't get round to visiting.

Very pretty seaside town; easy to explore on foot.
Very pretty seaside town; easy to explore on foot. Lots of independent shops, but there are two big supermarkets too. Lots of cafes! Interesting history very well described on clear tourist information boards along the seafront. Beware midweek in low season as most of the museums and both the castles are only open at weekends. That said, the coastal path is delightful and I spent my time (two weekdays in November) happily walking by the sea even though the attractions weren't open. Excellent public library with good local history section too.

The Old Rectory is a magnificent property which is situated just outside Deal. It is in a very good location for travelling around the Kent countryside and coastal areas and provided us with an excellent base from which to explore the area. We were made very welcome by our host, Helga, who showed us to our fabulous room with its own access in the grounds. A fabulous freshly cooked breakfast was provided, together with assorted fruit and cereal options, and nothing seemed too much trouble for our very pleasant host.
Glebe House Hotel was very homely, beautifully kept and clean. The owners Phyl and Al were exceptional hosts who were always available should you have any queries or requests. Although a little out of Deal the walk from the Hotel was around 30 minutes, walking mostly along the seafront, which suited us. Deal is a lively little town with many good coffee shops and eateries. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Glebe House and will happily re book this Hotel if we return to the area.
We stayed in the Wellington room which was spacious and had a lovely private balcony overlooking the beach. The bed was very comfortable and everything was spotless. We were delighted with the room. The hotel is well positioned for exploring Georgian Deal and the lovely little streets behind the hotel. An excellent experience.

No complaints though they couldn’t have done more to help and make our stay wonderful will define you be back 👌👍
Hotel ideally situated on the sea-front. Lovely fronted buildings with fresh hanging baskets of flowers, and plenty of outside seating for drinks / food. All staff were wonderful, very pleasant, very helpful. Bedroom was located at the rear & 2 flights of stairs up, so very quiet.
Loved the food and comfortable ground floor space. The design overall was lovely and the staff were very nice and accommodating. We had a baby in our party and while not strictly a family hotel everyone was super helpful. Would stay again if visiting Deal in the future.
Great location for exploring the lovely Georgian streets of Deal. There’s a paying car park behind the hotel so handy for dropping off bags. Our room was fine. Breakfast was excellent and staff were really friendly and helpful. Great value for the area
We booked this hotel because we were going to the Open golf tournament, it was a good location.

Glebe House is a beautiful house in a perfect location for exploring Walmer & Deal and the beautiful coast. Great local coastal walks. Historic Deal, quaint little streets with range of independent shops.
there was a definite “beach” charm. most all amenities were provided with some nice extra touches. was hoping for some water view, it a short walk away to enjoy the beauty and charm of the Deal coast.
The rooms are spacious, we arrived late after being stuck in traffic and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
We stayed so we were close to Dover port and this hotel was perfect for our needs.
The rooms are fully equipped in good condition, newly decorated and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel is also in a good location in Deal for all the best tourist bits and close to the station.
Loved the location. My husband ad I walked along the water for a long way in the late evening. Hotel has great curb appeal with the beautiful flowers and outdoor tables
I love Deal and I loved this hotel. It was amazing and right on the beach front. Fabulous location for a get away in such a charming part of the south coast.
