Vincy and Andrew the duty manager were really professional, Vincy even offered to help me and my daughter pack our stuff after Andrew authorised over the phone to give me the full refund so I could leave.
Didn't stay in the hotel so can't comment on anything else.

Featuring half-timbered buildings, almost complete city walls and a wealth of Roman heritage, beautiful Chester sits by the border with Wales.
The southernmost gate of the walls overlooks the River Dee, and the road leading north is one of 4 in the city to follow the original Roman roads. To the east, the Roman Gardens include a reconstructed underfloor heating system.
Nearby Grosvenor Park has remains of a stone Roman amphitheatre, thought to have been built on the world’s largest wooden amphitheatre at the time. Over the river in the suburb of Handbridge is a 2nd-century shrine to Minerva, and an informative display in the Grosvenor Museum provides the background to all this heritage.
In the west is Chester Racecourse and nearby are the medieval castle remains. More medieval buildings line the cobbled city centre streets. Some of these are The Rows, black-and-white timbered buildings housing 2 levels of shops. Other shopping options are the indoor market by the cathedral, and the Cheshire Oaks Outlet Village in Ellesmere Port to the north. The road out there passes Chester Zoo, one of the UK’s best zoos.
Booking.com’s range of Chester accommodation includes hotels with swimming pools, guest houses by the train station and B&Bs with parking near Chester Airport.

Chester is a beautiful small town packed with history and old buildings. We visited the beautiful Chester Cathedral and took a hop-on-hop-off tour to see the most of the town efficiently. We highly recommend to go to Chester Market (e.g. for lunch) and to Bear and Billet for traditional Sunday roast. Dinner at Hickory's Smokehouse at the riverbank was lovely (table reservation recommended), and Roman Garden next to it is a must. A walk around the city center on the old Roman Walls was also nice. There are loads of different kind of shopping possibilities available, and also some very good charity shops worth visiting. We were lucky and had nice spring weather all the time during our visit.

So much history.
So much history. The rows are unique incorporating shops, restaurants and bars, some of which are unique and full of historical facts. The sick to death museum is really interesting. Didn't get chance to go in the Cathedral.

We visited the Food Show at Chester Racecourse which is always good for buying those special treats. The Food Show is well organised and provides something for everyone. Chester has a wide range of shops to suit all budgets. Chester has many restaurants to suit all tastes too. We have visited The Bluebell for tapas and the Koconut Grove, both have been amazing.

Huge, beautiful and fascinating Cathedral with excellent cafe food in stunning surroundings. Lovely old and interesting buildings in the town centre. Mostly traffic-free centre. All the big names if shopping is your thing, plus a wide range of indies. Grosvenor park and riverside walking is a delight. Walking almost the circumference of the town along the city walls gives great views and is traffic-free. Maybe a river trip next time.

Full of history a wonderful city.
Full of history a wonderful city. Fantastic shops and Boodles next door. Ladies drool looking in their windows.
If fit enough do not miss the walk up above that circles the city, the view looking down is wonderful.
The hotel staff are very friendly & kind.Good location near the train station and near to Chester city centre, very clean and the fact that they could have charged so much more the hotel but charged a very reasonable price instead esp for Chester, is every credit to the hotel.I will certainly recommend this hotel to anyone and will be going back again at somepoint. You probably will have to book quite early for this hotel as I can imagine it's really popular.
The house is very clean and tidy you can tell it’s newly decorated. The owner was very accommodating we arrived early and it was ok to leave our bags to go shopping before checkin.
The hotel was very close to the city centre and the bus station is right behind the house to get to the train station.
When I stay in Chester again I will alway check availability there first before anywhere else.
The foyer/lobby at this hotel is nice and welcoming. It’s enjoyable to sit and socialize or read. The included breakfast has a few options and is pleasant in their dining room. Staff at breakfast are friendly and welcoming.
Chester is a beautiful town. It’s around a 15 minute walk to the center of Chester, through predominantly residential areas.
Located just outside Chester was perfect for our long weekend. The spa was very nice, clearly the main focus of refurbishment at the hotel.
Food was excellent, if pricy, but the breakfast was very good in particular. Staff helpful.
Room and bathroom was clean and appeared quite new. Staff generally polite and affable and check -in was relatively quick given there was a queue when I arrived. Hotel very handy for Chester city centre being a short walk away.
very friendly and helpful staff at this city centre hotel that is an excellent starting point for any visit to Chester or surrounding area. Particularly good for Chester Racecourse that is a five minute walk.
Staff were really friendly. An older building with character so don’t expect all shiny and new. The hotel is good value for money and is exactly as advertised. I will almost certainly return.
Great location for us, very comfortable and clean rooms, some brilliant design touches throughout the property and the outside space is excellent.
It is our go to venue when we visit Chester.

Great location and Chester city centre was a ten minute walk.
Lovely comfortable hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast and a great bar area.
Convenient for the city centre, only a 5 minute walk. Will return next time we visit Chester.
Hotel was fresh and clean, staff also very friendly. The EV charging for £15 was excellent and the pre booking of the EV charging was the main reason for my booking
