A beautiful historical city, that does not feel like the large city it is. It feels very warm and friendly. We love the original German restaurants and sitting at the Rathaus Platz (City Hall Square) watching people and enjoying food and drinks.

Augsburg is a very elegant and beautiful city.
Augsburg is a very elegant and beautiful city. The streets are lined with colorful stylish buildings, most rebuilt to the original plans following one of the heaviest allied bombings in 1944. The church of St Ulrich & Afra is a marvel, as is the Golden Hall in the Rathaus. The unique water system and the Fuggerei social housing complex also make Augsburg stand out in a historical context

Beautiful, clean city, with very interesting architecture.
Beautiful, clean city, with very interesting architecture. It is worth to visit Schaezlerpalais and the house of Leopold Mozart. It is very easy to walk throught the city where you can find everything you need. There is many nice restaurants, where they offer good and tasty food or small caffes for good coffee with a great cake. Our favorite restaurant was Aposto Augsburg.

A really interesting place with beautiful architecture.. but very busy. We were really interested in the small museum upstairs in St Anna’s church about Luther. It was very informative and well put together. The hotel Jakoberhof was right opposite the Feuggeri - the oldest social housing project in the world which was fascinating. We ate once at Burger meets Falafel which was just round the corner from the hotel.

The trams provide an excellent way of getting around.
The trams provide an excellent way of getting around. The city has many interesting historical buildings. There is a great variety of restaurants and cafes serving delicious food and cakes. The people are very hospitable.
The room was small but practical with plenty of storage. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Easy walk to the train stop that takes us to all the sightseeing spots. We love walking so we walked everywhere. Breakfast was wonderful. Great selection of traditional German food as well as bacons and breakfast sausages for American travelers. Just can’t list enough things we loved about this property. I might go back to Germany just so that I can stay here and relax. Highly recommend this hotel.
Great hotel - booked at last minute when we dint make our destination that day because of traffic problems. We were on a roadtrip across Europe in a classic car - 1968 MGC Roadster (https://linktr.ee/meandmymgc).
The place was ideal - simple but functional. The staff were great and helped us navigate our way to the city centre for beer and dinner. Overall great place to stay and would highly recomend.
The hotel is OK for a night or two, if you look for a budget hotel in Augsburg. It was nice to have the 2 rooms together and connected with an internal door, it was like having a bigger room with 2 bathrooms.
Location is great for visiting the city.
Beds are comfortable. Hotel although full (at least the parking was full), was very quiet.
Hotel is very close to all main tourist attractions, so the perfect stay to discover Augsburg. Appr. 10 minutes easy walking from the main central station.
Room is very spacious, bed is super comfy. Windows are really soundproofed, so room is very quiet.
Staff very kind and helpful. Very clean hotel.
Excellent breakfast service.
After a quite nights rest, there was a splendid breakfast: very nice atmosphere, cushioned seats and one of the best Darjeeling First Flush I had for a long time. And the flowers on the tables were real. It appears that this particular hotel is one of the first installments of the arthotel ANA style - an Augsburg creation.
After hassling with long walks to find our hotels in other places, it was nice to just walk next door from the train station. Staff are fluent in English and were helpful to this American in getting oriented to Augsburg. I was surprised how quiet it was so close to the trains.
Very good hotel located next to a tram station. The staff speak several languages, the breakfast is so extensive in options and they have also areas within the restaurant to have work meetings. The bedroom comes with a safe to put your stuff and they give complimentary water.
The rooms were great, especially the 4-person room on the corner of the building was amazing.
The breakfast was excellent too, lots of choices, great teas.
The hotel is optimally located to visit Augsburg, all of the important touristic sights are within walking distance.
The hotel reception personnel is very friendly .
The location is quiet and there is ample car parking place around the hotel.
There is a relax room with a baby foot, billiard.
The bathroom is well equipped.
The breakfast is very good .
Free parking, uncomplicated check-in. Clean room. It was quiet. Pretty good place to sleep there. The value for the money ratio for Germany is pretty good. There is 24h open gas station with good shop for drinks, snacks etc.
Breakfast was great and the attendant did a good job ensuring the food was available by checking and refilling the plates/bowls. Location couldn't have been better for downtown Augsburg. Right in the old town.
The breakfast buffet was much better than I expected for a Hostel (and even for a hotel in that price range). Though it is a hostel, my room felt more luxerious than in many hotels I have been for work travels.
book an apartment for 2 adults and 2 children
it’s spacious and clean
quick and smooth check in and out
15 min to the city center of Augsburg and 1hr to Munich

Top quality hotel in the heart of Augsburg with very friendly staff. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean en-suite double room. Excellent breakfast buffet. Great choice of restaurants nearby.
If I could give more than five stars I would, this place is the one to go too, I have visited many hotels in Germany and this is now my number one. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
