Everything met my expectations. Nice place to stay and relax. Very quite. Self check in was easy (key is in a lock box). I even got a business invoice (which you don't always get from other places).

With a peaceful location next to Dalsland Canal, this hostel features a large garden with barbeque areas and a private bathing jetty. Guests have access to a shared kitchen and TV lounge. Everything was perfect. Room was clean, area was perfect, hosts were very friendly and had great English, breakfast was delicious. Very good value for money. I would recommend this place to anyone. Built in the 1700s, Hennickehammars Herrgård is home to a grand old manor surrounded by lush green forest. The charming guest rooms are beautifully furnished and some come with a bubble bath. The estate is beautifully situated near a lake with hiking trails all around. You could rent the spa with sauna and jacuzzi and have it all to yourselves. What a treat! Comfortable and cozy rooms. Dinner at night was outstanding!
