Nestled in the greenery at Barken's Beach, this manor house dates back to 1725 and is situated just a few metres from the tranquil waters of Lake Barken in Bergslagen. The atmosphere was exceptionel. Such a lovely old wooden house, cosy bed and room, and even the Internet was decent. The setting at the Lake is just beautiful. The Best, however, was the food. Don't miss out on the authentic swedish breakfast, but The three-course-dinner was one of the best i have ever had. worth every penny!

Boasting lake views, Brunnbäcks Herrgård features accommodation with an indoor pool, an open-air bath and a garden, around 40 km from Sala Silvermine. The traditional Swedish charm and environment. The accommodations were roomy, very comfortable. The B&B was situated on the river with a very large beautiful green lawn as well as gardens. The owner and nephew were exceptional hosts. We were served a very complete breakfast in a very warm dining setting. We absolutely loved the country feel of the area with numerous horse stables and small farms. Very relaxing place to spend some needed down time.

Set in Rättvik, Rustika strandstugor utanför Rättvik features accommodation with free WiFi and seating area. All units are equipped with a microwave, toaster, a coffee machine, a fridge and kettle. It is the first time I came back and Stayed in the same place. We have been here four years ago and had good impressions. And it is even better this time! Shower rooms was renovated and we have our own hot tub that we can jump in anytime we like. There is a beautiful sand beach nearby and my daughter enjoyed it very much. Even us enjoyed swimming in the lake. Susanna and Stig has a friendly dog and cat… everything is perfect.

This countryside hostel is 5 km from Kläppen Ski Resort and 20 km from Sälen Ski Resort. It offers ski storage facilities, canoes for guests to discover the Lake Motjärn and a private beach. Strongly recommended! Cozy hostel with home like feeling, all clean and tidy. Large kitchen with everything you could imagine professional kitchen should have, nice and spacy living room with table games, books, TV etc. But special Thank You for helping us with flat tyre repair! Thank you Björn for finding workshop for us and Mega thank you Henrik for professional and extremely quick tyre repair! You both saved us one day of good skiing at Trysil! Thank you so much!

First Camp Orsa - Dalarna is located on the seafront in Orsa, 35 km from Tomteland and 17 km from Zorn Museum. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the country house free of charge. Clean and spacious accommodation. Family of 4 with a dog. Had a great time. Loads of space and the separate bedroom for the parents in the cabin we stayed was ideal. Spend New Year's here, decided to stay an extra night but unfortunately our cabin was booked for that extra night but the staff were great to sort us with another cabin for the extra night with no issue. Will definitely be making the trip back in the Summer.

This elegant hotel, dating back to the early 1900s, is peacefully surrounded by nature. Central Leksand is a 10-minute walk away. The ambience, atmosphere, and decor. It felt like stepping back in time into a more gracious and less rushed age. There was something very special about this hotel which I liked very much. The views towards Lake Siljan were lovely also. In addition, I liked the many black and white photos from the past, the comfortable and spacious lounge, the piano, and the coffee room with the selection of icecreams.
