Really kind staff, absolutely gorgeous building, comfortable and clean bedrooms: this ryokan is a perfect affordable place to stay to explore Matsushima! You can also rest in the onsen after a long day of walking. The location and atmosphere of the ryokan is calm and quiet, and I slept extremely well.

Location was good (only a few minutes walk from the train station, quiet street, convenience store nearby). Staff were helpful and friendly. Amenities were good. Room was spacious for 1 person, clean and comfortable. Value for money.

Great showers. First time in a capsule hotel so didn't know what to expect. It was also very quiet.

I loved this guesthouse!! The location is closeby to Matsushimakaigan station, roughly 10 minute walk. I loved the house, inside you can see was new but it reminded me of beach houses in Australia. The facilities were very clean. The house is tucked away in a quiet street, but super close to the town's attraction. We really enjoyed talking to the host and guests there, the host speaks solid English and gives good recommendations!!

The staff clearly explained the property clearly and quickly. Sometimes hostel owners do this too slow. AC sufficiently kept the room cool even with a full room of guys. In room mini-safe storage was a nice perk and was perfectly sized for my Nintendo Switch case (but definitely nothing much larger than that). Roommates were quiet. Hostel cat was super cute and nice (watch the claws if he gets really comfy)

The rooms were really well designed and comfortable. The place was modern and stylish. It was located very close (e.g. 300m) to the Sendai station on the eastside (seems to be more quiet and peaceful compared to the westside). There is a convenience store on the ground floor. The staff were really professional and friendly. The price was great value for the busy time of year.

Everything! The team was very thoughtful and took care of us very well during our stay. Food was exquisite with the lovely plating. It was very enjoyable and luxurious.

Good location next to the station. Well.organized hotel, quiet.
