Situated in Beddgelert and with Snowdon reachable within 16 km, Sygun Fawr Country House features a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. I would highly recommend a longer stay at the country house Sygun Fawr. It is nestled in the foothills of the mountain and provides stunning views over the Glaslyn valley. There is no substitute to waking up to such a view, or having a quiet drink late at night on the patio and seeing the golden sunlight move down the mountain. The managers instantly made us feel at home and went out of their way to help us as we toured Snowdonia, providing hot tips and sound advice. The food was fantastic, both the breakfasts and the dinners! You must try the banana bread at breakfast; it is delicious and is served up with honey gotten from their own hives. The dinners were provided by the expert hands of Paul and Kathy; just a day gone I already miss their cooking! The country house is perfectly situated and even for our longer excursions it took no more than an hour to get to either Conwy, Caernarfon or Harlech, or any of the trailheads.

Henllys Estate B and B is situated in Llandovery, 37 km from Brecon Cathedral, 3.3 km from Llandovery Castle, as well as 3.3 km from Llandovery Golf Club. Home made muffins and pastries were delicious. Owner was very helpful with maps and directions to local attractions. Highly recommend this B & B.

Located in the village of Llanrhidian,13 km from Swansea, Willow Mews features countryside views. Guests benefit from free WiFi and private parking available on site. This a cute little cottage in a delightful village. It had all the amenities and a comfy bed. The Wi-Fi was great and there was a really helpful book for guests about the local area.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Crug Glas Country House is a country house set in a historic building in St. Davids, 2.8 km from Abereiddy Beach. The food really is exceptional.

Situated in Abernant and only 42 km from Oakwood Theme Park, Cilwen Country House Bed and Breakfast features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Breakfast included traditional items. All very well made and presented. The homemade breads & jams were a treat. It was very quiet and our hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The house is nicely decorated and our room and bath were spacious.

Nestled in the Dyfi Valley, The Firecat Bed and Breakfast features large open fireplaces, exposed beams and traditional oak furniture throughout. This was such a wonderful place to stay. My room was perfect and so comfortabe (and stunning); breakfast was exceptional (some of the best sausages I've ever had); and the dinner was Michelin-quality. Robin and Jane are some of the loveliest hosts and I can't wait to book again.

East Hook Farm is situated 3 miles west of Haverfordwest and 4 miles from Broadhaven and the Pembrokeshire coastline. The B&B room was very clean and comfortable. It is in a very quiet location surrounded by beautiful landscape. Host, Karen, was friendly and informative.
