The room was beautifully appointed, with attention to detail that ensured a luxurious and restful experience. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the views from our window were picturesque, offering a serene backdrop to our stay. The location was ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the Lake District, with easy access to roads, trails and lakes. Tarn Hows was close by and simply quintessentially English countryside at its best! What truly set this B&B apart was the genuine care and hospitality of the hosts. O Rydal Lodge Hotel oferece uma bela localização à beira do rio, a 3,2 km do centro de Ambleside. The place felt very homely, beautiful and located close to Mount Rydal. Breakfast service is amazing. Mark and Helena are excellent hosts. Highly recommended!

O Ees Wyke Country House é uma propriedade georgiana elegante no Lake District, a menos de 3 milhas da cidade de Hawkshead. We were immediately welcomed and given a tour of the beautiful building, including the garden and the two lounges. Everywhere was kept toasty thanks to the fire places, and there were lots of books and board games available to pass the time. Our room was spacious, clean and kept supplied with lush hot chocolate, tea, etc. We had a fantastic view of the lake too. The staff were absolutely wonderful and couldn't be more helpful. Had a lovely chat with Ed one day, then Angela the next! The food was fantastic, I would highly recommend grabbing at least one dinner there, and definitely go down for breakfast every day. Wonderful selection, and exceedingly tasty. Incredibly cooked by the owner and solo chef, Richard!

I booked it last minute as I got a late start to my drive up north and didn’t get as far as I was hoping, but my stay here was a pleasant surprise and I’m so glad I got to stop here. Incredibly clean, comfortable, with clear thought put into providing anything a guest might want. Breakfast was delicious, and the view out the window while eating provided a great start to the morning. I would gladly go out of my way to stay here again.

Location and lovely view with large rooms and excellent breakfast. Has a homely touch. I have stayed before and the experience was better than before.
