The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the views from our window were picturesque, offering a serene backdrop to our stay. The location was ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the Lake District, with easy access to roads, trails and lakes. Tarn Hows was close by and simply quintessentially English countryside at its best! What truly set this B&B apart was the genuine care and hospitality of the hosts. Das Rydal Lodge Hotel begrüßt Sie in schöner Lage am Fluss und bietet Ihnen elegante Unterkünfte im Lake District, 3,2 km vom Zentrum von Ambleside entfernt. Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich, ich empfehle die zum Garten hin, absolut ruhig, man hört keinen Straßenlärm. Top Frühstück, alles sehr hochwertige Produkte, dass meiste von lokalen Selbstvermarkterbetrieben. Würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

Das Ees Wyke Country House ist eine elegante georgianische Unterkunft im Lake District, weniger als 3 Meilen von der Stadt Hawkshead entfernt. Breakfast was excellent. We loved having afternoon tea and scones in the drawing room, and a refreshing cider served while we read. Books about Beatrix Potter and a sunny window seat to snuggle up and read were very much appreciated.

I booked it last minute as I got a late start to my drive up north and didn’t get as far as I was hoping, but my stay here was a pleasant surprise and I’m so glad I got to stop here. Incredibly clean, comfortable, with clear thought put into providing anything a guest might want. Breakfast was delicious, and the view out the window while eating provided a great start to the morning. I would gladly go out of my way to stay here again.
