Set in 14 acres of outstanding natural beauty, this country house bed and breadkfast with cottages and a heated outdoor pool offers a relaxed atmosphere, professional service and luxurious... Our flight was delayed so we arrived after the restaurant closed. The owner and his wife made us welcome, even though they had closed for the night. They very kindly opened a bottle of wine and made us a wonderful dinner. Throughout the stay their hospitality was amazing. The owner would not let us walk to the bus stop, instead he very kindly drove us all the way to Sidmouth in his own car! They really could not have done more for us!

Donna and Paul are exceptional hosts. Their service and attention to details were gold standard. They have both been through a trying period of their lives yet their concern for our comfort and enjoyment of the property and facilities were without fault. We can recommend to anyone considering staying at Score Valley Country House to book without hesitation. The property is located in a picture perfect valley and has more than enough parking to accommodate guests.

Nestled amid 10 acres of private grounds, on the southern slopes of Dartmoor National Park, this family-run award-winning hotel provides the ideal base from which to explore the natural beauty of... The food was exceptionally good. Every meal was delicious, and they were extremely cautious and accommodating toward allergies and dietary restrictions. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Located in Tiverton and only 25 km from Sandy Park Rugby Stadium, ASHLEY COURT provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. I was intrigued by the host's description of their property beforehand and was not disappointed upon arrival. The house and gardens are a delight and steeped in history and we were made welcome to explore by Nigel, our very genial host and his lovely family. Breakfast was good and plentiful and attention to detail was shown regarding our specific requests which were well met. The bedroom was spacious, with a large and very comfortable and a good bathroom off with large walk-in shower. We enjoyed dinner at a very nice restaurant in Tiverton called Frou Frou and nearby the next day, we enjoyed a visit to Knightshayes with the aid of directions from Nigel. The property offers a tranquil respite from the usual hustle and bustle of town life and must be an ideal setting for the yoga retreats held there. It would have been nice to have explored the gardens further and dip into more of the many books on display, had our stay extended beyond the one night of our booking. Maybe we'll be able to visit again.

Beachborough Country House features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Barnstaple, 32 km from Lundy Island. Everything. Amy and the family met us on arrival. Booked 2 rooms for our family holiday. We used our large apartment as the base retiring to our own rooms at the end of the evening. Thank you for the eggs, milk and lovely bottle of wine. A perfect few days away.

Serenity Estate, a property with barbecue facilities, is set in Berrynarbor, 34 km from Lundy Island, 35 km from Royal North Devon Golf Club, as well as 35 km from Westward Ho!. Really friendly and nice owners who made us feel very welcome . Amazing location, with a beautiful big garden with outdoor seating and playing outdoor games and with a BBQ Which we used.

This Grade II* listed property offers a separate self-catering one-bedroom cottage within the 16th Century thatched farmstead. We didn't have breakfast. Everything was fine. Host was very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble.
