Set 20 km from Rioja Alta, El Mirador de Eloísa offers 4-star accommodation in Rodezno and features a garden. Breakfast was beautifully crafted, local produce and home cooked. The room was beautifully appointed and immaculate. Our hostess was incredibly helpful with much practical advice and information about the surrounding area and very kindly arranged for us to visit a traditional local wine producer where we had an amazing tour of the caves culminating in a delicious wine tasting. Our hosts were most accommodating of our bicycles and assisted with keeping them safe on the premises overnight.

Offering city views, Casa Rural Senderismo is an accommodation set in Lumbreras, 49 km from Numantino Museum and 49 km from Soria Bus Station. The apartment was just perfect. Lovely space, great view, beautiful little village. Yanna (and Nacho!) was so helpful in guiding me around the area and making sure I had everything I needed. As I was there for a long time AND have almost no Spanish, it was was great to have the extra bit of support. I can not recommend this little spot of heaven highly enough.

Housed in a historic building, Los Colmenares provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi in Cuzcurrita-Río Tirón, 25 km from Rioja Alta. Location beautiful in the middle of the old part of the town. Little hard to find but I got there. The owner couldn’t have been friendlier. Even made breakfast at my request at 8am when they usually don’t start till 9am. Highly appreciated.

Featuring a terrace, La Fuente de Arnedillo features accommodation in Arnedillo. Arrived at night and could only see the immediate vecinity. Proprietor was very helpful and gave us very helpful advice on local facilties. A great experience all round.

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Posada de Urreci is a recently renovated country house located in Aldeanueva de Cameros, 48 km from La Rioja Museum. Beautiful place for nature lovers, nestled in a gorgeous hamlet in the stunning Sierra Cebollera. We went with our large Mastin x dog and he was in heaven. There is a lovely sense of community emmanating from the whole village. The Posada and the surrounding buildings have been beatifully restored, offering a superb base from which to explore the many routes into the Sierra. The food was delicious and Luis and Margarita were very attentive hosts, giving us a 5 star stay. We'll be back!

With mountain views, La Casona del Pastor is set in Valgañón and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, outdoor fireplace and children's playground. the place is very nice! the owner did a lot to make our dogs life very happy. very good breakfast! highly recommended
