Room was very comfortable and clean and bedding and towels very clean too . Good selection at breakfast and enjoyed the cooked breakfast . Everything you need is provided with great self catering facilities, and the treats upon arrival were much appreciated. The smart TV included is great for evenings and the hot tub was great, with lovely views out over the river or under the stars once it got dark. It's very quiet and peaceful within a lovely valley with walks nearby, including an easy stroll to Peebles town centre. Lovely selection of food for breakfast. It's a great location close to many other places to visit. A lovely area to walk around, so peaceful and quiet. We had dinner in the restaurant on 1 evening only ; quality and presentation of food was good. Most staff were friendly and pleasant to deal with. The size of the room was good, however the chair and sofa were 'down at heel' and took the gloss of the room as a result. In the evening the hotel was peaceful and quiet, which made for a good nights sleep.
