Breezeway Resort, hotel in Westerly

Offering an outdoor pool and a private beach area, Breezeway Resort is located in Misquamicut. Free WiFi access is available in all rooms.

Great location, and wonderfully fixed up, so it had the charm and price of an old-fashioned beach hotel (with shuffleboard) but the ambience of a cool modern hotel. Staff was great and helpful, and we appreciated the 10%discount at the hotel company's nearby restaurant.

The Villa Bed and Breakfast, hotel in Westerly

The Villa Bed and Breakfast in Westerly provides adults-only accommodations with pool with a view, a garden, and a terrace.

We stayed in the Rosa room, which has its own entrance and was quiet and private. The room was a little dated, but nice and clean. Bed and linens very comfy and plenty of towels already in the room. Breakfast options each day included one special, choice of bacon/sausage, eggs, granola / yogurt/ fruit, various toasts. Frig with beer, hard seltzers, and soft drinks always available and room frig was stocked with water. The innkeepers were great.

We spent our time at Watch Hill and Ocean House.

We spent our time at Watch Hill and Ocean House. Watch Hill and Napa Point are great for walking, exploring the shops, and Sift Bakery has great coffee and pastries. Walking in the salt water as the waves came in along the sandy shores at Watch Hill was relaxing. On a breezy day when the tide is coming in, Ocean House veranda is comfortable for a light lunch. Watch the croquet players and, if you have the inclination, talk with the Ocean House pro and take a lesson - it's not your backyard croquet.

    Underwhelming. Decent but nothing special.

Underwhelming. Decent but nothing special. Location was good. Room dreary. No view. Like a motel you’d stay in in a pinch. Breakfast pitiful. Coffee mediocre. Would not stay again. Nothing really wrong with it but nothing special or particularly nice. Clean, though. Bed not very comfortable with rubber mattress pad that crinkled all night. Ho hum.

The overall ambience. Has a restaurant, 2 bars and 3 fireplaces. Very comfortable and relaxing. Planning to return in the winter to enjoy their outdoor fire pits and drinks inside by the fireplaces

    Plenty to do. Great beaches.

Plenty to do. Great beaches. Great variety of restaurants and shopping. Don't have to travel far for anything you need. Variety of lodging. Great places to stay if you want to get away from the beachfront. Will defiantly return for another mini getaway.

We enjoyed our stay at the Winnapaug Inn.

We enjoyed our stay at the Winnapaug Inn. It was very quiet there which we welcomed. The adjacent Venice Restaurant (no reservations) was so convenient especially when arriving at 6 pm just in time to eat dinner for us. The meals and drinks were good and reasonably priced and our server was attentive enough. We were seated immediately and given the choice of the bar area or the dining room. No complaints. We loved Westerly and Watch Hill. And Misquamicut Beach. And, of course, the beautiful weather we had. We also ate at the Windjammer at Misquamicut and Longo's Italian Restaurant (make reservations) in Westerly. We were very happy with all of the restaurants.

We love the proximity to the water.

We love the proximity to the water. The restaurants are great. We especially like Dog Watch Café. It is easy to get around Westerly and the drive to Stonington for its quaint New England beauty is a must.

Sarah & Chris were the most hospitable of inn keepers, They truly made us feel at home. Breakfast was abundant and showed the care that goes into every aspect of their concern for their guests. The property is truly beautiful and kept clean and neat in every corner of the facility. as for the location, it is a wonderful place to stay and use as a home base to tour the area before moving on to Providence.

It's oceanfront and I had a 3rd floor room with a balcony, so I could see and hear the waves all the time. It's a beautiful and relaxing view. "Town" is only a few minutes away, and there's a restaurant at the hotel (opens at noon). Great service at the restaurant and amazing views.

The hotel is very clean, there is a restaurant next door with good food and the pool is quiet and peaceful. We stayed for a couple days with our kids and they loved it. Short ride to the beach but away from the main road with congestion. We will stay again in the future.

Everything was excellent m. However I’m still waiting for $100.00 to come off my account. I return everything I was given. We didn’t really have enough time to enjoy all the hotel had to offer.
