The room was clean. Desk people are nice. The facility does not have a washer/dryer for guests. Many sports tournaments are played near by. Parents need to sometimes wash or at the very least dry hand washed clothes for 6am departure the next morning. The breakfast is not worth it. I wasnt happy with the choices of cereal. The eggs are dry, and choped into little specs. Powdered eggs, maybe? They were not real. I saw waffles, not sure if they had pancakes, definitely no french toast. The bagels and bread seemed old.
Breakfast is very important for athletes.

We stopped for one day in Mystic, on our way to another destination. The Whaler's Inn was close to shops and restaurants by foot. For an overnight stay, the room was convenient for our needs and very clean.

Life is full of unexpected twists and turns, and sometimes the best thing we can do is just let go of our expectations and trust that everything will work out in the end. Of course, that's easier said than done, but I find that the more I practice going with the flow, the easier it becomes. It's a mindset that allows me to approach challenges with more flexibility and creativity, and to find joy in the unexpected moments that make life so special. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great.
The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. The lighting was too dim in the room even with all the lamps on. Our temperature control was a little wacky so it wasn't working properly. We checked in about 6 pm and checked out 11 am the next day so we didn't use or explore the facilities as we should to be able to give an actual review. I only noticed one fire pit, maybe that would be a suggestion that you should have more , especially during the pandemic, but then again we didn't stay long enough to really know what other amenities there was.

The location is extremely convenient, near a Tesla charger, Walmart, restaurants and the main highway. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. We plan to return every time we are in the area for sports events at Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods. We like this hotel much better than staying at those places.

My husband and I both got an omelette each with two things inside the omelette. Our bill was over $40. I feel we could have went outside of the hotel and gotten something better for the same amount. And that amount had a 10% discount for us staying at the hotel.

Unsure if the beds were upgraded when the hotel changed owners or if it was the type of room I was in. Either way I was very pleased. The AC worked great also.
