Bryce Sunset Inn, hotel in Panguitch

Located in Panguitch, 18 miles from Sunrise Point, Bryce Sunset Inn provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

It was great. Luckily we visited the place towards the end of the season. In a way it helped to get full experience of the Inn and attractions around Bryce Canyon. Ivo and his family was so nice to us. They invited us to their Thanksgiving dinner. It was definitely a great experience.

Dragonfly Motor Lodge, hotel in Panguitch

Dragonfly was created for the self reliant traveler who likes to get away from the crowds and explore the path less traveled.

Great Job on the remodel. Very clean. Very comfortable bed and linens. After a long day hiking, it would’ve been nice to have a shower that had proper water pressure and could get your whole body wet at one time. The floor in the shower shower was extremely slippery and could use a mat. The AC wall unit was right by the head of the bed very noisy on and off all night. The window shade at the front window did not keep the room dark. The room was fairly well lit all night. Neither of us got a good nights sleep because of the noise and the light

There are some absolutely gorgeous historic homes in Panguitch but the town itself could use a refresh. They have tremendous potential with the historic downtown and its proximity to many National Parks but in all honesty, the town looks like it’s seen better days and needs someone to kickstart a revitalization. This takes a concerted effort, I know, I was involved with a chamber of commerce for many years in Northern California and everyone needs to be one the same page. We ate at Kenny Ray’s and Cowboy BBQ. Both had great, friendly staff food was nothing exceptional but portions were large.

Panguitch is a small town well situated near Bryce Canyon...

Panguitch is a small town well situated near Bryce Canyon and Cedar Breaks. There is a big Days Inn but most motels are comfortably refurbished older places. Good restaurants are available. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Bryce from here and an hour to Zion. You can access the Interstate (I-15) by using a connector road (Hwy 20) from Hwy 89 a few miles north of town. 20 generally stays open in winter, but ask. We went north on 89 out of Panguitch and soon hit I-70 right after visiting Butch Cassidy’s boyhood home. I-70 goes over the San Rafael Swell and east to Green River past Moab then on east. Or west to Vegas and LA via I-15. We got off of I-70 at Salina and stayed in the valley, going in north annd eventually coming to I-15 at Nephi, avoiding three mountain passes that have winter chain-up places.

Location is 20 min outside Bryce, and twenty min outside of panquitch. Town is very small and seemed deserted. Inn is very outdated but beds were comfortable enough .no grocery stores close by . Small restaurant near inn but we did not eat there .

The door lock was inoperable, so we were given another room. The heater of the 2nd room was faulty and turned off in less than 2 minutes. The room never got warm. We wanted a refund, but the desk clerk was not authorized to do so. We left and drove to Green River, UT. We are very displeased with the Panguitch Days Inn.

Cabin seems solidly built. Looks like log cabin in the old west. Bathroom was cleaned. Bed was comfy. Room #9 was far enough from the main road and we could not heard any vehicle noise during the night. Staff member was friendly. Coffee maker is available, uses the K cup I think and coffee was provided. Cabin got frig and microwave oven. Nice of them to provide complementary bottled water. It’s the small things like this that make them stand out from the main hotel chains that nickel and dime you.

We were greeted by Barb (owner), and she was outstanding. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was excellent. The comfort of her guests is her number one priority. They have made several impressive upgrades that make their property second to none. Their choice of decor is very tastefully done. It truly was a remarkable room. There are several hotels you can choose, but there is only Purple Sage. We'll definitely be back and would recommend this location to everyone.

The staff members were super polite, friendly, and caring! I arrived late at night and for a while I was still in the car talking to a friend. The polite gentleman receptionist (I cannot remember the name) came all the way to my car to make sure I had a booking with them! Oh my! This never happened for me before and I found it super caring! 🙏 It was a peaceful, quiet, after all of my hikes at the Bryce Canyon I had the best rest! Thank you so much!

We stayed in the room called 'Mountain View' on the second floor of this lovely, old (but updated and spotlessly clean) house. Our room was spacious with a separate closet area and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a standalone bath. Welcome was friendly, bed was very comfortable, and breakfast was great. Panguitch is a small but interesting, historic town and a great base for exploring Bryce Canyon. Would highly recommend this family-run B&B.

The hotel is about 6 miles outside of the center of Panguitch, so is conveniently located. The room is clean and has all the basics one needs. We used it as our base to get to Bryce Canyon NP. Also, I'd inadvertently left my own blanket at the hotel, and told them I'd pick it up on my way back from Bryce. I returned for it, and the staff had my blanket neatly folded and wrapped in a plastic bag, waiting for my return.

I have stayed at many places from Panguitch to Bryce Canyon. I booked this place on accident and was more then. Pleasantly surprised! It was the first clean room that was not a total dive, and the front desk lady was so nice. I will stay here again and would recommend to anyone. Beds and pillows were not super comfy, but I will take it over clean, nice rooms with friendly staff!

The room, was spacious and had everything we needed. What I liked the most was the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner. Though there are closer places to Bryce National Park, it was an easy drive to get there. My only complaint, and it has nothing to do with the hotel itself, is that there is almost no where open to get a meal on a Sunday in Panguitch.

As the family business owners, Ivo and Christine make it personal and warm to each guests, which is very special. The foods are mostly home made and the quality are beyond expectations. We had dinners over the consecutive two nights. The location is not in the center city of Panguitch but is convenient going to Bryce Canyon. 谢谢!热情满满!

Brand new log cabins plopped in the middle of Panguitch town, about 1/2 block from the best restaurant in town. No common walls so they are very quiet.
