Breakfast started a 8, we already left. The rooms are nice and clean and comfortable. The walls, trim, bathrooms looked newly renovated. Refrigerator, air, micro, coffee maker. Has all you need in a small room. Love the door that exited right outside. The grounds were well manicured with nice little swing sitting areas.. would definitely recommed and use this place again. Kuddos to the people who make your stay nice and maintaining it so well.

Pretty town with lots of restaurants. Somewhat hilly.
Pretty town with lots of restaurants. Somewhat hilly. Appalachian trail nearby. Lots of beauty seen on the country roads. We passed right by the birthplace of Susan B. Anthony, never know what you'll see! I'm not sure if there is one piece of flat land in this town, but it's very charming! The Holiday Inn in North Adams was right across the street from the fire station and the police station. We felt very safe there, comfortable night's stay and absolutely spotlessly clean. If we return to the area, we would definitely stay there again.

We were passing thru on our way to NY We needed an interesting, pet friendly place for the nite. Upon investing our options, we discovered their modern art museum and decided to ck our pet friendly hotels near by.
Soooo! What a wonderful surprise! The Art Museum was amazing and The Porches Hotel was exactly what the ‘doctor’ ordered after a long day on the road. 🥰

My husband and I went to North Adams to visit the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MassMoCA). The museum, housed in a collection of beautiful old factory buildings, was amazing. There were whole floors of colorful Sol Lewitt wall paintings, all lit by the brilliant light coming from the factory windows. There were mind-blowing virtual reality installations by Laurie Anderson. And LOTS more. MassMoCA also sponsors concerts by groups like The Pretenders and Wilco. We will definitely make it back in the future to see new exhibitions and attend one of their concerts.
My husband and I were lucky enough to get a night this week for a short vacation. What a wonderful, understated gem of a hotel/motor inn. The decor and architecture are serene and so comfortable both inside and out. The room was so clean, the bed wonderfully comfortable and the view to the woods beautiful. The grounds are awesome and we used the beatufiul pool area and the terrace extensively. They had a wonderful BBQ for the guests. Everyone was extremely friendly and efficient. I can't say enough. We will definitely be back
The hotel has potential, though not quite there yet. The proximity to town and Mass MoCA is perfect. The rooms are uniquely decorated in a “shabby Chic” decor, and quite comfortable.
The staff were all very nice, and quite hospitable. The woman who checked us in was also the bartender, which all operated from the same reception area.
The proximity to Mass Moca and Williamstown is ideal. The room is comfortable and with a large bathroom, shower and claw foot tub. The continental breakfast is varied with baked goods and much more.
The large and cosy room and lobby. The breakfast and coffee were delicious. The terrace and outside shower are great. The design of the hotel is great. This place really has a unique soul.
Lovely, tasteful boutique hotel with super comfortable, cozy rooms and nice amenities. Ideal for our needs (visiting Mass MoCA a couple of times over the weekend for a music festival).
The cleanest hotel that I've been in years! We travel with 4 kids and always check all the angles and facilities. We were happy this time, we didn't need to wipe any single thing.
comfy bed, large modern bathroom, nice continental breakfast, pretty landscaping, easy to bring out my dog and give him a walk, great location for exploring North Adams area
