Beautiful beaches and close to the Redwoods. Arcada has a very cute town square with some very nice restaurants like Brio's Bakery. They have great pasteries, and wonderful a breakfast and lunch menu.

McKinleyville was not our original choice and it proved satisfactory but not exciting. We used it as a center for walks in the hills, beaches bird sanctuaries etc.It wqs basically a reasonable place to stay for a few days.

We were visiting Eureka and the Crescent City area, so McKinleyville was close to each of those towns. The few restaurants were a short drive from the hotel, and there were beaches and ocean viewpoints close to the hotel, also. Even though there is a regional airport very close, we never heard any airplanes from our room.
This was a great value place for staying the night during our road trip up the California coast. The place is very compact, but also kinda cool and for two couples it fitted our needs nicely. The place is small but well organized, and you have mostly everything you can think of. We used the kitchen to cook dinner and breakfast the following day. The location was also nice, with a nice view over Mckinleyville. The hosts were friendly and run the place smoothly. Everything was organized and as advertised.
The room was very large and designed in the business style. There is breakfast included though the options are limited. There was no fresh fruit other than bananas. The location is 20 min drive from Eureka. I did get a text from the front desk after checking in, asking if they can do anything to help. Overall value is not as great as the Oregon hotels during this trip. But of course, this is California.
The property’s location was perfect! Located right in the middle of Eureka and Trinidad and just the perfect distance from any hustle and bustle. All food and grocery is only minutes away. Great kitchen, comfortable bed, awesome couch, and spacious bathroom. There’s a cool loft too! Very quiet neighborhood was super nice and surrounded by beautiful homes.
This is a _nice_ little home. It is very clean, with a stove, sink, refrigerator and Keurig machine. It could sleep a family of 4-5 if necessary. It was very comfortable. It was the price of a hotel room, but private and special. It was a new experience, which I liked.
comfortable ans good location for the beach and I. et week Arcata and Trinidad made it nice to travel to each. close to services on McKinley was great as we ate in d’or the most part with kiddos. close to park was nice too
Refrigerator was a little larger than most in hotels an even had a small freezer section. Important to me since I travel with food for my dietary restrictions. They had a printed list of area restaurant recommendations.
Clean, great location! So much better than getting a hotel room with traveling with an 8 month old. Good price point. Great location when traveling down the coast. Close to tons of great food options in Arcata.
This hotel is our go to hotel in the McKinleyville CA area. It's consistent for service, staff professionalism, room amenities and location. Breakfast has a lot of options and there are plenty of luggage carts
Close to town. Lots of room. Pet friendly. Cows were fun to watch. Very clean. Large yard. Easy to find. Would definitely stay here again. Very reasonably priced for the number of beds available.
Everything! We loved the tiny house. It was warm, quiet, comfortable, fully equipped, and in a great location between Arcata and Mckinleyville. It was great for two friends travelling together.
