One thing I enjoy doing in the spring and summer is shopping at the New Jersey farmers markets for fresh fruits and vegetables. Definitely the best produce available anywhere. There are some good Italian restaurants in the area too.

I was born in Trenton and spent much of my childhood in Ewing. I still have family there, so I know it fairly well. The location is great for visiting the beautiful nature and small, charming towns along the Delaware, taking a day trip to Philadelphia or even New York or the Jersey Shore. Historic homes and sites are plentiful and close-- Trenton and Princeton are both under a 20 minute drive. There are also some great neighborhood restaurants in Ewing. I could go on!

Staff should engage prospective guests, not punt.
Staff should engage prospective guests, not punt. Again, the gentleman that answered when I called could not be bothered with my situation and punted to Booking. I called very early Saturday morning before my scheduled Sunday afternoon check-in.
When I walked into the front door every time the fragrance in the air was so so so delightful--enough that I commented to the front desk. The evening staff was superb friendly, welcoming and informative. The day staff and the breakfast staff also were exceptional.
The rooms are so nice and the bed super comfortable with good linens. I had never seen a hotel bathroom broken up with a toilet closet c sink and the main bathroom well lit with lit inset mirror.
Great staff- room as you'd imagine, bed and a separate lounge area with a desk and couch. Has a window that opens. There is an outdoor seating area on both sides of the hotel- small but nice on a summers evening. The breakfast was well attended, well stocked- the oatmeal was good and had a nice selection of nuts, seeds etc to add in!
We chose this hotel for the proximity to our friends' house. Room was clean, quiet (even though it looked like they had a lot of guest staying there from what we saw at breakfast) and had what we needed to spend a quick weekend.
I liked that I was comfortable. The area is in a low key area. The co-host, Lita, she's super cool 😎..the other guests are awesome, everyone is easy to get along with. I was happy with my stay!
