The staff was really helpful and the kitchen was open late and I was even able to find something for my son who has celiac disease so that was a bonus.

Hotel is located in downtown Newark close to some great restaurants. The Bar and breakfast staff were the best, always cheerful and attentive to your needs. Free breakfast was a plus. Rooms were clean, neat and very spacious.

This was the worst stay I have ever had. The place had dogs. The was a strong smell of urine and feces. There were spiders in the room. I had to kill a few. The office staff was missing a lot. We had to disinfect the room just to sleep in it. I would really appreciate my money back.

We were glad there were two of us to drive and navigate--also glad for the GPS. Traffic moves fast and you need to know your lane. Plenty of good places to eat and plenty of places to shop. We avoided some main attractions (Winterthur and Longwood Gardens because of weather. Convenient to Delaware City and New Castle.

One thing right off the bat. When we got there, they had no reservation for us. Somehow our reservation got cancelled by mistake, but the person at the desk corrected the mistake and found us a room. Honestly, I would have felt safer and more comfortable sleeping in my car at a rest area. The pictures, although average are not from the room I stayed in. Seriously, run-down, in desperate need of renovation (although the description says it was renovated) hotel. A dreadful experience.
