The location was great for why we were in that area. The room was clean. Staff were fantastic, polite and helpful. Facilities were very clean and smelled cleaned which is great for someone with sensitivity to smells. And accessibility to transport and the food market what a plus.

My recent stay at The Godfrey Hotel in Boston was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I entered the sleek and modern lobby, I knew I was in for a treat.
The rooms exuded contemporary elegance, with stylish decor and plush amenities that made me feel right at home. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the room, from the comfortable bedding to the state-of-the-art technology.
The hotel's location in the heart of downtown Boston was ideal, offering easy access to top attractions, dining, and shopping destinations. Whether I was exploring the historic streets of Beacon Hill or indulging in some retail therapy on Newbury Street, everything was just a stone's throw away.
The staff at The Godfrey Hotel were warm, welcoming, and attentive to every need. From check-in to check-out, they went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of perfect.
Overall, The Godfrey Hotel in Boston exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether you're visiting for business or pleasure, this luxurious oasis in the heart of the city is sure to impress.

Location-wise, it doesn't get better than this. Very convenient to just walk around all the main attractions of seaside Boston and the financial district. Bedroom was quiet, which is very important to us, and very well maintained. Staff was lovely and offered us the possibility to store our luggage after checkout so we could hop around with no weight on our backs. Breakfast at the main-floor restaurant, Joia, was also satisfying :) Good parking recommendations too - driving in Boston is an utter nightmare.
The Museum of Science and TD Bank Garden are located 2953 feet from this Boston city center hotel, featuring completely nonsmoking rooms, an on-site restaurant and many modern amenities.

There should be camera in the parking lot, complementary water in room, more sturdy pillows, a better sign on the entrance door mark lobby

The great staff. The super clean room.
The great staff. The super clean room. The large breakfast dining area. It was nice being able to move around to get our breakfast & to have plenty of seating available.
We didn't have a chance to explore Chelsea, as we needed to spend our 1 day there driving to Ellsworth, Maine & back.
So we were only in Chelsea 2 nights. But for 2 across country, tired train travelers (from LA to Boston), this Hampton Inn was terrific. Oh - the beds were super comfortable too!

We didn't visit Chelsea during the day, just got some take out food one of the nights (there are options not too far from the hotel). For what we saw around the hotel, it didn't strike me as a particularly beautiful area, but it's a short drive to Boston, and very close to the airport (but we didn't hear any plane noise.) We didnt explore public transportation options to Boston, but my impession is that can be a hustle. However it'ss close to Boston, so if you have a car is a short drive and my guess is that a taxi or Uber should be affordable too.

Perfect location if you’re not renting a car, which is expensive and a hassle to park in Boston. It’s a very short walk to the Silver Line bus (free) to the Airport subway station, where you get to most anywhere in the city. You can also get off at the very next stop and transfer to the commuter rail to North Station or Salem and Gloucester. The area around the hotel looks rough, but I never felt threatened or uncomfortable, even when returning around midnight from a Red Sox game.
The van service to and from the airport was great, also. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel restaurant and bar was still closed due to the pandemic, which is completely understandable. There is a Dunkin’ across the street for coffee and several other food options within walking distance.
I am planning to return to Boston next summer with my grandchildren and this will be my first hotel option.

I felt most of experience was very good during staying.
I felt most of experience was very good during staying.
I pre-requested early check-in and they provided the service to me.
Especially Well-facilities in the room were perfect to take a rest and enjoy cooking with food from supermarket (market basket).
When I checked-out, my room rate was overcharged but i couldn't argue about that due to behind schedule.
But the overcharged payment was returned to me through direct phone call.
Public transportation is also close to hotel and easy to access super market.
It is worth to stay here when you visit Boston.
At the last I think this hotel would be perfect if your check-in/out counter's staff have been a little bit more kind and had a smile.
The Chelsea location was very nice and clean. The rooms were large in the century old house and there was plenty of room for cooking, eating and visiting. The kitchen was modern and well-equipped with the extras we needed for coffee and cooking. The heating system was able to keep up for the most part when a major winter storm came through. The home was part of a duplex and the neighbors were reasonably quiet. The bedrooms were large and the beds were the size advertised.
Actually I did not stay here since when I arrived, there was no room free. Booking.com made a mistake. I even had a confirmation and my credit card was debited. That same evening Booking.com did it 3 times in a row. Booking confirmation but no rooms available in none of the 3 hotels. It was a nightmare. The owner of the Chelsea condo paid back, so no complaints about that. Don't trust however Booking.com
Hotel is situated in Chelsea next to train station and SL3 bus route making access into Boston easy. Didnt do breakfast as walked up.to nearby Kats Bakery which is definitely recommended.
Reports about staff I feel were a ittle but unfair my experience was pretty good.
All in all a decent stay and what I would expect from airport and busines hotel
Superbly comfortable room and bed! Really lovely bathroom. The hotel is right across the street from a lovely shopping area with restaurants and grocery nearby. Despite it's city location and proximity to the airport, our room was very quiet. We had a quick ride to the airport, via their van/transport. Will stay here again.
Breakfast was the normal hotel family eats. Our room was very clean. Location to downtown Boston was okay. There is a toll to go through and if using public transportation, it is a bit confusing. Restaurants around hotel are limited.
I liked that I could stay without renting a car. The hotel is super close to the Chelsea commuter rail station, so I was able to access both Salem and Boston very easily. The bed was comfortable, and the room was ample in size.
Convenient hotel in Chelsea not far from downtown Boston. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Swimming pool area is a bit small but still ok for the kids. Don’t arrive too late as the main car park will be full.
Airport-Shuttle every 30 minutes from the hotel & for pickup from the airport you have to call
Earlier Check-In on a Friday was possible
Rooms clean and beds comfortable
Food and supermarket in walking distance
Very impressed with the hotel and staff. It was clean and comfortable, modern and high spec. Reception and bar staff were friendly and helpful. Bar food was great and reasonably priced.
The Homework suites was closed so we were sent to hotel across the road. We were not given an equivalent suite and room was disappointing. Staff not really helpful.
