It’s an independently owned property. The room was comfortable with nice decor. It had a spa tub, but we didn’t use it. Quiet. Close to our destinations. Good price. Great staff, they were very helpful in getting our boarding passes printed.

If Breakfasts included in the price is an important factor,...

If Breakfasts included in the price is an important factor, do not choose this hotel. Honestly it was just like any average hotel. It was within close driving distance to restaurants. You will also pay an additional $15 each day for parking. When a hotel lists breakfast included and you don't get it, either Booking.com has the problem or the hotel does. It became our problem at any rate. In either case we did not get one, drove down the street and paid $68 at an ordinary Waffle house for eggs, bacon and waffles. $300 overnight stay is expensive... period.

Not clean, and dated rooms that need remodeling / updating. Noisy complex, and breakfast was not very good. Front desk check-in girl was not very welcoming, and needs to improve her attitude.

Typical American suburban banality evidencing aged property and a growing inequality beside a highway ditch away from airport situated between Suburban sprawl, overpriced homes and apartments, shops and business parks in Silicon Valley Tech World.

I liked how helpful the staff was when we checked in.

I liked how helpful the staff was when we checked in. Although the price seemed too high. The nite staff proved it was too high. And when it came time to check out, there was absolutely no assistance for disabled guests. And no breakfast, for the price of the room, breakfast and parking should have been included along with the concierge svcs.

This hotel is located next to restaurants/shops/theater and we enjoyed that. Unfortunately, without alerting us, a high school reunion event was located within a few feet of our window. The music/DJ and people talking was so loud that it felt as though they were in our room with us. When we complained to the front desk, we were told, "It will be over at 10." It made it impossible to watch tv or read for hours. Also, the toilet bowl did not automatically fill up whenever flushed, and had to be manipulated manually. We have stayed in numerous DoubleTree hotels and this one was a big disappointment.

I was there for a scientific seminar - other than being a very modern - almost "Japanese" environment, I really wasn't there very long. There was a horrible traffic jam all the way home from the freeway entrance ramp all the way to Stockton. I like the mass transit options that are in the area.

Very noisy. My room was on the second floor, right over the main entrance. No bar or restaurant so the drunks would go out to the smoking area at the entrance and talk and yell until 1:30 in the morning. The staff did nothing to police and keep quiet. We changed or stay twice. At least we thought we did but every time I asked it was always the old check out date.

When I first called the Larkspur hotel I was confused about a message someone emailed me so I asked to find out. The first person hung up the phone on me. When I called a second time the person was really helpful. He told me they weren't fully booked and a room was available and he saw my transaction online.

Everything was good. I live in San Jose and my children threw me a Ball at the Campbell Community Hall so l wanted to be near to get dressed. Also some of my out of town relatives picked your hotel. It was good that we could meet early for breakfast before they hit the road.

Great location at the Pruneyard. You can walk to restaurants, shops, and movies just a few steps away from the hotel lobby. Parking was easy right at the front of the hotel. It is located on a side street so traffic noise was never an issue. Bed was super comfortable.

Very comfortable and unexpectedly beautiful decor. Geographically the hotel was well located for San Jose business. However, the hotel is located on a main street and the surrounding area is not as nice as the hotel. I will return without a doubt.

The location of this hotel was excellent -- walking distance to great shops, restaurants and even a Trader Joes! The hotel room was large and the bathroom was clean and updated. We used the pool and hot tub, and both were great.
