The owners were lovely. The house had a charming old-fashioned style, detailed millwork, stained glass, and lots of light—great breakfast with clean ingredients—all from local farmers. Ashland is a cute town close to great restaurants and fun hiking trails.

This is a very comfortable place to stay. This family run Inn has a realness to it that is sometimes missing from our trips. The layout of the common areas and relaxing porch are great--- and the breakfast was delicious.

The shower was the best feature.
The shower was the best feature. The beds definitely need updating. However, the hotel was clean, and I have no complaints. We didn't have breakfast, as we had plans to go to Airport Diner in Manchester on our way home.

Ashland is a beautiful town.
Ashland is a beautiful town. Centrally located by highways to get you anywhere you need to go in the entire region within a 1/2 hour. Great restaurants nearby, gas, convenience stores, Dunkin Donuts etc.. Scenery and museums, vintage houses and train station all add to the small hometown experience.

A great small town, right off I-93, in the heart of NH.
A great small town, right off I-93, in the heart of NH. Many beautiful lakes, mountains, ski areas about 1/2 to 1 hour away. Common Man restaurant and Italian Farmhouse restaurant are both Super! There's a small brewpub (White Mountain Brewery) off Winter Street in town - best beer in New England!

5 Star I recommend to all.
We were received like kings.
Very nice hotel, warm, clean and very well maintained. Nice comfortable room.
We had lunch seated at a beautiful table with excellent food.
Tablecloth, golden plate, cut glass. The Total.
An incredible experience, I will keep very good memories of it.
We had a problem with the car, Charlotte and Peter were of great help to us.
As friends would have done for us. I am very grateful to them. Thanks again.
I love you and will visit you again if I return to NH. Promise 😊
Anthony and Bobbi were the nicest people I have ever met. We hit it off immediately and they made our stay so enjoyable I can't wait to do it again. And Eddie, there dog was so friendly I wanted to take him home with me. Anthony gave us the lowdown of the houses history and it was quite a story. We put a pin on the map they had in the hallway to show where we came from. The map was full, mostly in the New England area but every state had at least one pin, including east and west Canada.
Amazing atmosphere and friendly people. Great place to stay at a central location for travel to other areas.. the owners were very helpful in what to see and how to get to it. Either a bonfire every night or hangout in the garage sharing stories from the past. Just a great time and very relaxing.
We kindly requested to cancel our reservation because a war broke out in our home country and we had to cut our vacation short and return home. The owners of this hotel demonstrated an incredible lack of humanity and refused to give us even a partial refund.
Had a lovely fall getaway here with my wife. Charming house and owner. The owner was very helpful in giving us information about the area. Breakfast was very nice too. Our gluten free and dairy free needs were catered to and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
This was the second time I have stayed here. Facilities are clean, staff was extremely friendly and breakfast was good. My child was a student at Plymouth State University and the hotel is extremely close to the campus. Would definitely stay here again.
Great location not far from Boston in quaint town and close to skiing areas of NH. Spacious room with comfortable bed. EXCEPTIONAL BREAKFAST and happy hour with delicious wine. Knowledgeable very friendly hosts. Will definitely come back!
Spacious sun-lit victorian, beautifully decorated. Warm & welcoming inn keepers (Pam, Glenn). Great dinner options nearby - The Common Man Ashland for cottage-feel dining, Walter’s Basin - Holderness for food with lake-view
We went for bike week. It was just far enough from the strip for some peace and quiet but not so far that it was a hassle to get to. Nice area, clean, ac was turned on for us before we even walked in.
This hotel was all it was supposed to be; it was a perfect one-night stay on a road trip. It offered what I expected, was clean, friendly and great value for the money.
Interesting older building, nice lounge areas throughout with games out to play, on the bottom floor there was a gym and an arcade on the way to the pool.
