It’s near our son’s home. There is a McDonald’s and a Waffle House very close. The staff is friendly, courteous, and helpful. The hotel is clean.
The room and bathroom were modern and clean with very good amenities and linens. The bed was very comfortable. There is a coffeemaker and fridge in the room.
The breakfast room is spacious and pleasant with friendly, very accommodating staff. The breakfast was fine with something for everyone. I enjoyed the hot oatmeal(nuts, raisins, brown sugar), so much better than instant.

Beautiful city, most of it. The college was fantastic! Would, and have, stayed again…. and again. Just about any food place you can think of, shopping was fun and just a few hours from ocean. Old plantations and historic sites to visit. Many hotels to pick from.

We came to Anderson to do genealogy research at the city library. The staff were friendly and helpful. After a restful night at the Holiday Inn, we set out to find nearby quilt shops. A Google search sent us to Quilts of Valor. Oops, not a store but a quilt guild meeting location. Two wonderful ladies referred us to quilt shops in the area but most importantly they told us about a genealogy research center in Anderson where three volunteers went out of their way to help.

Love the quiet and the peace of the hotel. There's a general feel of elegance, beauty and overall grandeas within the hotel. The room was excellent. All of the request I had made, were fulfilled long before I got there!!
Amelia checked us in and she was nothing professional, polite and pure joy to talk with!! We indulged in room service and it was the same: purely professional, polite and positive vibe about him!! (So sorry I can't remember his name - though he did state it multiple times!!
The woman who checked us in was very friendly
and accommodating. When we checked in, the
room looked cleaned. The only thing we were
concerned about was that there was no hinge
security lock on the door. However, the
maintenance man was nice enough to quickly
install one for us. We also appreciated that this
hotel is pet friendly.
It was about the "Customer Service" that we received, it was "Exceptional", and I did bring this to the attendant when I checked-out!
My wife and I, will be returning to Anderson, and re-acquire the services of "Residence Inn by Marriott Anderson Clemson"
Without exaggeration, I can say that over the past six months, I have stayed in more than 15 hotels, and this hotel had the most amazing breakfast. Next time, I will definitely stay at this hotel if I go to these places again.
One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was for breakfast they didn't even have breakfast so I was pretty bummed out about that and hungry lol other ihan that which is pretty concerning they were good.
I only stayed two night. The hotel room was not clean and there were drugs being sold from the room above mine. Also people on drugs running around outside my room all hours of the night and day.
The front office was clean but everything else from parking lot to vending area and rooms were trashy. Hotel seemed to have drug users everywhere and police went camped out around the place.
