Goreme was a great town but a 20/25 minute taxi drive away. We had our balloon ride from there which was excellent. The whole area is a beautiful sight, absolutely breathtaking. Our whole trip was spoiled by our hotel accommodation. Yes, we chose a cave hotel but with deluxe accommodation, balcony, dining area and we expected a window to look out of to actually see the beautiful views of the valley. AND ... not have to climb 161 steps to our room. We expect a refund please.

We went to Neveshir to do the balloon ride. We booked for a week to give us the best opportunity of having a great weather day for the experience, giving up Istanbul as a travel destination. Nevsehir is the capital city of this province. Do not stay in the town itself. It is very large and not actually in the part of Cappodocea you want to see. Neither is it near the Nevsehir airport. Stay in Goreme, Avanor or Urgup to be in the heart of the region.PegUnited States - 8.0Scored 8.0

Breathtaking view from the hills. You should try the Sultans Ceramic and make your own ceramic. But don’t buy from there it’s quite expensive and you can find the same pieces of ceramic much cheaper in Avanos. Must visit: Göreme to watch the hot air balloons and you can stay near there.

It was a two story low ceiling room and the food at the hotel reataurant was delicious as well. The location of the hotel was amazing as well and it was very peacefull. The view from the restaurant of the hotel was amazing as well which we enjoyed during oyr breakfasts and dinners. The room was economical as well and not heavy on the pocket. They provided us a drop off to bus station when we checked out.
