Puro Surf Hotel, hotel in El Zonte

Offering aa large infinity pool overlooking the Ocean and a lap pool, Puro Surf Hotel is set in El Zonte in the La Libertad Department Region. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar.

The hotel was right on the beach, had a small but very clean and beautiful infinity pool. Great food at the restaurant with many healthy and vegetarian options as well. Decent prices for what was provided. Excellent vibe for couples, families and surfers. Friendly staff. Nice amenities such as complimentary coffee (decent quality) all morning long. Optional coffee bar with specialty coffee selections. Potable water refills just by asking the bar tender to refill. The beach was better than expected. The photos appeared to show many rocks and waves reaching the edge of the cliff. However, there were steps leading down to the beach area and when the tides were low (most of the day), there was plenty of beach with fine sand and not many rocks at all. Great place to walk, exercise or play with your dog. Felt like the staff was really there to help you have a wonderful stay. Whenever I asked a question, they would offer to assist. I walked to the restaurant to ask for desert to go. The staff member suggested, "We can bring that to your room if you'd like". Very welcoming!

It was a beautiful hotel, not many rooms, which made it very quiet and the mangoes on the property were an added bonus. I ate so many of them. Also 3mns walking distance from El Zonte beach so i was able to walk and watch the sunrise.

Located on a cliff with an exceptional panorama, with steps down to black-sand El Zonte beach that's great for surfing but very rough for just swimming. Location is hard to find and about a 10-minute walk from the village. Good quality breakfast. Nice gardens.

Great for surfing and if you're looking for a quiet place to hang out with a few good restaurants If you don't surf and are a swimmer it might not be the best place to be. The beaches are too rocky and not really equipped for lying in the sun and swimming.

El Zonte is a quiet surf town with good waves if you want to surf relax and eat well for very acceptable prices. Not for party people. On holidays and Weekends there is a bit more influx by Salvadorian Locals so it gets busy.

This place had a lovely clean room, accommodations for daily visitors, an excellent restaurant, friendly and helpful staff, and beautiful views of the ocean. We were surprised when the high tide brings wave splashes into the ground floor restaurant, but they said it happens all the time, and sit upstairs if you don't want splashes! If you want to reach the beach during high tide and don't want to immediately swim from their staircase, walk up the road to the beach access sidewalk. We were pleased with the efficient and careful guidance to negotiate their parking lot when it's really crowded and impossible to get out without help. You will enjoy your stay here.

If you want a semi-private, long stretch of sandy beach to walk on and swim in, the location in front of Palo Verde Hotel is the perfect spot! The low tide left several small pools in its wake, where we laid down and just enjoyed the warm waters of the Pacific while getting some Vitamin C! During our stay, there were very few people on the beach aside from other hotel guests, which made for an unencumbered bathing experience that made us want to stay indefinitely.
