There are many things to see around.
There are many things to see around. We visited Lipica farm and Koper town. We found very good food at decent price at "Gostlina Spark" restaurant, it is behind the "business incubator" center, across the street from Lidl supermarket.

Close to Trieste and the Karst area, very scenic in a beautiful setting. All stores within 7 min drive, autostrada at 1.5 km but next to no noise. ideal for hikes, cycling, exploring rural environments, local sights and heritage of the Karst area. Fantastic local wine.BerndGermany - 10Scored 10

The landscape altogether is pure nature and wildlife as well as the place being close to the bigger city of Trieste - only 30km away and in Italy. Of course it is also not far from another place by the seaside called Pirana - which is in Slowenia. Basically a good base to start any journey - best by car but there is public transport -bus mainly.

The breakfast lacks choice, the sweet side being more abundant. Apart from that, the setting is friendly and clean, and well-maintained, and in the evening there's a nearby restaurant serving Italian cuisine. One drawback is the distance from the motorway and to get there you have to drive along small country roads.IvanFrance

It is close to the motor way and yet it is not noisy. The rooms are spaciuos, we even had a coffee machine and water free of charge. Breakfast was ok, with a limited choice of savoury and sweet products. In general we were satisfied with the hotel. It is just 20 minutes away from Trieste, near Opicina which has spectacular views over Trieste and its gulf.
