The apartment was spacious and well equipped. It added flavour to the trip because it helped us immerse in the life of the local residents. The host is amazing, helping in every way he can. He gave us tips where to go for the food and has helped with all our requests.

Wonderful historic city with small fort to climb and local heritage Centre. Take the opportunity to drive out from the city to get a real sense of the Arabian landscape especially Hegra. There are many hidden gems you can only really discover if you take a rental car - 4x4 mostly recommended for hire at the airport. Driving very easy.

The guides in Hegra are the best thing about the area.
The guides in Hegra are the best thing about the area. They are well informed and welcoming of visitors.
Al Ula overall was a disappointment this time. I had previously visited 10 years ago when there was basically nothing for tourists other than one hotel and Hegra. It’s nice to have more options now, but most of the places visited, dined with, or stayed in were charging very premium prices for average or less services. I definitely saw and experienced less of the actual place than when it was undeveloped, aside from what the Hegra guides showed. A big part of that is the barriers to doing just about anything there unless you reserve and pay up in advance. When locations are spaced apart and people run on vacation time, it’s annoying to have to fix reservations for everything. There are few walk up options, even in less crowded times. It seems a place for the less adventurous and more those who want to hang out inside a resort.
Hopefully places can find their way on service levels and become overall more competitive with the luxury desert experiences in the UAE or the more traditional leaning camps in Jordan. It’s a great area inhabited by really nice people. Those should be the faces visitors see.

We were unsure what to expect but AlUla has completely charmed us. The locals were incredibly kind and friendly and we always felt like we could approach anyone for a chat and a laugh. I was nervous about not wearing an abaya but was never made to feel bad. I would advise ladies to bring one along and just see how you feel about not wearing it. We loved the Hegra tour and the OlD Town was absolutely charming.

AlUla is fabulous - if you get a chance, you should definitely go. Transport is an issue - so a car or tour would be best, though I did it with taxis etc and it was fine, just requires a few logistics! A fabulous place to stay and amazing sights to see, with trendy and cool venues/restaurants - in addition to friendly people. It's sort of aimed at the luxury end - but I did more middling, and definitely possible!

The area is in a unique geographical and geological setting,...
The area is in a unique geographical and geological setting, surrounded by 500 million-year-old sandstones. These sandstones shed light on the unique palaeoenvironmental conditions that existed during the deglaciation of the Gondwanan supercontinent in the Ordovician and early Silurian periods. On top of that, there is the presence of the ancient Nabatean civilisation, which settled in this region in the late Bronze Age. Their relics speak of a thriving culture, making this place truly magical. As a result, taking a vacation in this region is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Al Ula provides spectacular scenery, archeological taste,...
Al Ula provides spectacular scenery, archeological taste, amiable weather and a lot of tourism attractions. The city is is well organized, specially the old city area, which is worth visiting at night. Some of the attractions require special permits which is a hassle snd disappointment if you dont get them in advance. It is more costlier to shop, dine and move around in Al Ula than most of other cities in Saudi Arabia.
Black is a nice and cozy apartment located very close by the old town of Al Ula and the Oasis heritage trail. It is at a walking distance from the center of the town. The apartment is clean and cozy, there is a big bedroom and a living room with all necessary facilities. I'd like to say a big Thank you to the host, Ibrahim, who is a very kind and helpful person. He did his best to make my stay in Al Ula a wonderful experience by taking me to the major spots of interest and showing me the beauty of this fabulous oasis town.
There is no breakfast - period ! Their pictures show only interior and outside area until wall. Why ? Since it's located off the tarmac / main street with 1,5 km on gravel road. Well, if you use a rental car, never mind. It's a rural area where farmers plant palm trees. Very close to elephant rock, close to Al Ula downtown (10 mins drive by car) and decent distance to the other main attractions in Al Ula.
The Villa is large and spacious and everything is brand new! The property looks interesting and distinctive with beautiful surrounding areas.
The bed was extremely comfortable to sleep on.
The owner was very welcoming and gave us ideas and tips on where to go and what to see in Al Ula which helped us a lot!
We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay at this Villa again in the future.
Perfect place to stay! The host was the nicest man ever, he welcomed us so nicely and was super helpful. The apartment is perfect with 3 very big rooms and everything is super comfortable. The host brought us water, juices and fruit for the day and explained us everything there was to do in Al Ula. It is the best place to stay in town!!
By far the BEST host anyone could ever asked for, honestly no review can do this man justice - he went above and beyond to ensure our experience is nothing but perfection in Al Ula.
The apartment was sparkling clean with full amenities and of everything you could possibly ask for.
Definitely will come back again!
Hotel host Nadim was fantastic - his service is far above and beyond any expectations. His help with organising tours and transfer was superb, but mostly I enjoyed his kind and gentle character - he really loves to give service to make people happy. He made my visit to Al Ula unique, and I would love to come back.
Hotel is nice, breakfast was ok, I believe is overpriced just because is located in AlUla .. is more expensive than a 5 stars hotel … this hotel only has a swimming pool as facilities so I do not understand why the cost is soo high
Breakfast was great, comparable to other 5 star hotels. Room was very good and spacious. Path leading to room needs attention as is a trip hazard with loose paving. No info in room re anything, hotel, Alula etc.
This is a magical place, close to all that Al Ula can offer. The guys working there are super nice and helpful; the tent was well equipped and clean. The surrounding nature is astonishing.
cleanliness, space, comfort, 3 huge living rooms, 2 big bedrooms, nicely equipped kitchen etc. host Abdelrahman is super friendly and helpful. location is 15 mins drive to Al Ula Old town
