It's a laid back, nice small town. There's not too much to see so a few days should be more then enough. But lovely people and if you enjoy easy conversations in nice pubs and good cuisine, then Novi Sad is for you.

Beautiful and small city. It is very clean and it is more European style. I like the streets around Petrovaradin and Petrovaradin castle. I would recommend Petrovaradin castle, it is a must visit place. You can rent a bike to get to Petrovaradin castle, across the river. From there you have view of Dunav river and whole city. Enjoy the coffee with a perfect view. Overall, 3 days is more than enough to stay in Novi Sad and visit everything.Matina - 10Scored 10

We loved Novi Sad...it was very walkable, clean, friendly, relaxing, historic, and also not full of tourists. I wouldn't mind keeping this great location a secret. The food was excellent, and we loved the restaurants at the Petrovaradin Fortress where Hotel Leopold is located. It's also fun to sit in a cafe on the walking street and listen to concert-level violinists and other street musicians. There is also an amazing and unique Turkish bath/spa called Atrium just off the walking street with all kinds of services, including a rooftop restaurant, and reasonably priced.

Because of a delay in my travel scheme, I arrived in the middle of the night, but the friendly owner let me in after calling him. I left early in the morning and that was neither a problem. The owners their English is sufficiently good to communicate about your stay. Nobody entered my room during my stay (no cleaning), which was favorable since the COVID cases were high during my stay.SaraBelgium
