The district, where hotel is located is great, peaceful, with good infrastructure- Lidl 3 minutes away- and not far away from the city center. There is a private hotel parking lot which eliminates any parking issues and nice outside terrace to have a coffee or a glass of wine. The room was nice, with a small fridge and hair dryer, towels and a quite comfortable bed. The breakfast was tasty and sustainable with eggs, salad, bread and coffee served a la carte.

Suceava is an attractive town with good amenities and a pleasant atmosphere. With its wide boulevard, central square and pavement cafes it's perfect for an evening stroll. The beautiful monastery, fortress and traditional village museum are definitely worth a visit. Suceava is the perfect starting point for visiting the stunning painted monasteries, several of which are just outside the town.

The important point about Suceava is as a centre for visiting the many attractions of the Bucovina, the surrounding area - in particular the painted monasteries; walking in the hills, woods and valleys; the handicrafts, the layout and architecture of the village houses; and the food of the region. But do not forget the Bucovina Village Museum and the Castle (Cetatea de Scaun) on the outskirts of Suceava itself.

The churches, monasteries and fort we're very interesting. Easy to get around on Uber. Everything excellent value for money. Perfect for a weekend break. Need Google translate for menus etc. Research beforehand worthwhile to choose excellent restaurants and coffee/cake places. Excellent hotel made the difference. When we could not get a taxi to the train station he reached out to several taxis and we could not find us one, he drove us to the train station. would stay with him a again. However, if you arrive late, make sure you have water/drinks with you, because there is no ammenities in the room - I would expect that we have had at least one bottle of water or a mini fridge (for a 4* hotel). A plus for the slippers and bathrobe. Anyhow, I would recommend it only for a short stay.
