The location is perfect for those who come to the University of Minho. Very clean. The bed is very nice and big. Pillows and a blanket are puffy and soft. The matresses need a top matress because you can feel the metal carcass while sleeping. The breakfast needs veggies and more fruit for vegans. Braga is a relatively flat city and we walked to all the main sights. Our apartment was steps away from Casa das Natas and we had breakfast there twice- excellent service and yummy food. Around the corner is Maria Alice which also had friendly servers and a different menu- delicious! We ate twice at a Típica which was unique (no spoilers) and the food was great. We spent one rainy morning walking around Braga Parque which was impressive considering how lively it was and malls near us in the US seem to be dying off. If you want spectacular viewpoints visit: Baloiço de Esporões (need a car), Bom Jesus, and Sameiro.

Braga is really beautiful, the old town is breathing some kind of old wisdom, i have difficulties to put my feelings about it in words, in the parts where i was mostly hanging out i had the idea to be part of an old movie. I was here winter 2023 and it was raining a lot and i think it was part of the peace of mind it gave me. the silence in the streets. Just outside Braga you can find Bom Jesus do Monto and that is really impressive as well, like really really. I didn't went much to restaurants or bars but you can find them plenty.

Very nice town for a two day stay.
Very nice town for a two day stay. I happened to be there on the 1ST of December and joined in the festivities of the Christmas celebration which seemed to involve the whole town.
Braga is very old and historic and it has a lot of charm for its size and I enjoyed finding what felt like secret corners of the town to enjoy.

Braga was full of fascinating history- beautiful buildings, very friendly people. It is convenient for Porto airport, lots of choice for places to eat. I would like to have seen the Roman ruins (which we didn't find..)and museums - not enough time. We took the bus to Guimaraes and enjoyed exploring there too!
Catarina, muito obrigada. This is a gem of a location and being there during The Anniversary of the Day of Portugal, Camões, and Portuguese Communities was a great joy. Even when the festivities were playing, if I wished to have quiet the room provided enough sound proofing. The room is beautiful, the orange walls alongside the framed images, and an air conditioned blessing to be in when experiencing the extremely hot weather. This is a beautifully preserved historic house in Braga.
Lovely boutique hotel! Clean, comfortable, quiet room. Good bathroom and shower. Friendly, helpful staff.
Wonderful breakfast! Convenient location to explore Braga, very close to tourist areas with lots to nearby sights and excellent places to eat nearby. Limited onsite parking (which they had told us about), but staff provided detailed directions to nearby underground parking which was safe, secure, and pretty convenient, at a very reasonable daily rate, Would stay here again!
We stayed at Urban Hotel Estacao as we were attending the Dance World Cup in Braga, it was in good location near to Braga old town & well placed for us to get to the Altice Forum. All the hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. We had a nice countryside view at the back of the hotel. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. We loved our trip to Braga and the hotel was a great choice.
It's a better 2-star hotel than many 3-star hotels I've stayed at in Portugal. The location is great and close to the main places of interest in the historic center of Braga, allowing you to do everything on foot. The receptionist was very friendly, the breakfast was tasty and the room was impeccable. The bed was especially comfortable and looked brand new, without making those characteristic "hotel bed" noises.
Everything! Great communication by Valeria, fantastic location just a stone away from everything, Cathedral view, very clean rooms, lift and nice breakfast. Originally, didn’t request breakfast because it seems expensive for Portugal, but we tried in one morning owing to great reviews here and it was worth it! Will go back if we manage to visit Braga again!
Location is in the heart of Braga, literally on the plaza in front of the Braga Cathedral. Our room was clean and welcoming. Loved that the restaurants/bars on the plaza had tables and chairs outside, and the community was out enjoying a Friday evening. It was very easy to get "home" after enjoying a jug of sangria.
everything was perfect at the hotel. nice and polite staff, great breakfast, great facilities, easy access to city center. I was in Braga attending Prisco Business Group Visa and residency event. It was the choice number of Mr. Fabiano Prisco referring this such great Hotel. thank you Meliã staff.
I was amazed by the owners' willingness to assist the visitor, as also to solve any issue that might arise.
Excellent experience! Especially the new breakfast room is fantastic!
My preferred hotel for my following visits to Braga.

Amazing hotel in a great location. The rooms are nicely designed and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was also really friendly, we had no complaints and would highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking to come to Braga.
