This was such an unexpected pleasure. On the side of the barn, this studio apartment was superb. Beautifully appointed with extra high ceilings and two toilets. The Aga type oven which was set on low for a cosy feel.

It wasn't actually in Rangiora but Woodend as advertised and the reason we choose to stay there.. Had to drive to Rangiora. Lovely Cafe and shopping area to visit as well as reserves to walk on. Would go again.

I have never been to Rangiora - although I am a Kiwi and have been to Christchurch many times. Rangiora seemed a vibrant little town with some great little boutique shops - very impressed and very clean. Only wished we had one more day to explore.

The shower had great pressure and the provided a hair dryer that worked really well, not like usual hotel ones that are very weak. The couches were the highlight, they were so comfy and all reclined. It is a comfortable studio space with a small lounge and kitchenette area. There was plenty of choice provided for the continental breakfast (cereals, breads, jams, butter, yogurt, and a selection of teas and coffee). Annie was a lovely host and was very responsive to our pre-arrival questions and requests.
