The pool was nice, since it was pretty hot when we were there, but the pool is not heated so be prepared for a cold dip. The grounds were really well maintained, lots of gardens and trees. A rhino wandered through the hotel grounds at dawn one morning we were there (both amazing and terrifying). The staff was very helpful and made sure our excursions were booked and our transportation was sorted out.

Def a place to visit while being in Nepal, but I somehow got the feeling that the locality has lost a lot of its soul with increasing commercialization of tourism. I heard that before all the tourist lodges were built, Rhino could regularly be seen in Sauraha itself.
Recommend to visit, maybe for 2-3 nights at best.

July and august are not tourist season in Nepal
July and august are not tourist season in Nepal
That why chitwan park is closed while other side parks are open
Also hotel and restaurant are not well prepared because it’s off season period
Also one single advantage is area is not crowded

A lovely town that has more more to offer than the National Park.
You could easily spent a day or two visiting surroundiings on a bike or even by foot.
Or spent some hours along the river side. or just walk up and down the main road in the village..
We arrived in chitwan with nothing planned. We arrived at this beautiful accommodation with a magical garden, where they literally took care of everything for us. They planned our safari tour (jeep tour, coneoning, jungle walk, tower night stay, elephant bath and elephant safari). They also prepared an amazing packed lunch and dinner for the above activities. Very helpful staff and delicious food. We really recommend staying in this accommodation. And manager of this hotel Mr.suraz very polite and clam. Thank you for everything.
What an incredible place to stay! The family really make you feel at home and care for you like one of there own. Really comfortable spacious room and hot shower. Tasty cheap food and lovely balcony to watch the beautiful jungle sunset.
The safari organised was a really reasonable price and we saw 8 Rhinos and so.many other animals!
They even gave me a coffee and a free lift to the station when I left. Truly lovely people.
Seriously the best place to stay in Chitwan!
Nice stay! Room was fine, good hot water in the shower, screens/netting on the windows, the garden was lovely (such good dahlias blooming!) breakfast was simple and quite good. The owner was very helpful organizing tours, bus tickets, etc! And the staff were very kind. Not the place if you are looking for a super fancy luxury hotel, but extremely good value. We enjoyed. Good location - short walk into town but far enough away to be nice and quiet.
A gem of a hotel. The staff, the facilities, the room, the food. Without a doubt, the experience in Chitwan would have been different if we had not booked the Sapana Village. Best of all is the development project and sustainability programs they have. We did the Safari directly with them, all well explained and guided and we were lucky to see even a Tiger.
We will miss this stay very much! Thanks to all the staff of the hotel!!
Hotel Rhino Land is like a home away from home. Raj takes great care of his guests, from picking them up at the bus station, to offering a free welcome walk, and helping with everything they need. One night, he even drove me to see a rhino that was walking through town! The property is a short walk from town, quiet, and set in a lovely garden. I definitely recommend staying with Raj and his family.
I loved how welcomed and cared for I felt by the staffs. They assisted with everything they could and helped me plan my days in Chitwan. They answered all my questions related to the safari and provided transparent information which I found precious.
The activities were great and food in the hotel was cheap and good. I recommend this hotel to anyone who’s planning to visit Chitwan.
Fantastic option for accommodation in Chitwan. Owner was very helpful. Organised the walking and Jeep safari. Luckily, the guide they provided for us was able to spot a Bengal Tiger, numerous rhinoceros and plenty of elephants. The hotel does bike hire as well as having a laundry service. In the evening there was a rhinoceros that walked past the property which was a great bonus!
I stayed there for 3 nights, the room were clean and spacious. The staff were very polite. The AC in the the room was great. Due to the weak electricity of Saurah the hotel had a great backup generator. Overall the hotel was nice and good and I would recommend it to other tourists. They even had free shuttle to and from the bus station.
very nice hotel but the food have to improve, specialy breakfast .the staff was wonderful.special thank to babu!!!!.such a wonderful person! .chitwan (sauraha) got a 2 bad years because of the covid.so,please, be kind with locals!.overall a very pleasant stay !! .i ll be back to
It was great especially excursions with naturalist Naval. Hotel is lovely, has a garden, feel really connected to the nature. In the room very nice shower with a comfortable temperature water.
The best safari is in Community Forest, not in the Chitwan National Park.
Had an amazing time at Hotel Flycatcher! The staff was friendly, room was spotless, and the bed was heavenly. Great location, delicious breakfast, and top-notch service. Highly recommend for a perfect stay in sauraha! Will definitely be back. Thank you 😊🌟
It is a beautiful place with amazing view over the right to the Chitwan National Park. The bamboo houses are really unique. My room had a mosquito net which I highly appreciated, the mosquitoes were always everywhere. I really liked the outside shower.
The service here was exceptional -- the entire staff went out of their way to be welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The food menu was large and varied, and the location -- just five minutes from Chitwan National Park -- was perfect.
Fantastic location, we were able to see rhinos, crocodiles and birdlife from the beach/water front at the hotel. Peaceful and quiet location. Easy walking distance to good places to eat and organise your safari trip into Chitwan.
Family was welcoming and helpful. Great value. Room had a fan which is necessary with the heat of the summer. Great location. The tours through the family are worth it. Great location near entrance to Chitwan.
Sunil and the team at butterfly were very helpful and accommodating during my stay. It was clean and perfect for a budget backpacker stay in Chitwan and I would recommend it to others.
Such a nice and lovely place, very nice people here, staff is so kind ..if you re looking for a place in chitwan ..it s the place to be ...i highly recommend
