Well, i believe lots of visitors already know that Kuching is famous for its Kolo Mee and must-eat Laksa... so delightfully ubiquitous that you dont have to sweat to find one and the tastes and textures are varied that it might take a week to form a decisive opinion as to which is the best of them all.
Kuchingites are friendly and helpful if you need "snapper".
The city is acceptably clean (8/10) and safe (10/10 during our visit as we did not experience or seen anything untoward: but personal safety is your own baby)

Nice city with a lot of attractions in the city itself and the surrounding area. The nicest surprise is the musical fountain show each evening at Darul Hana bridge. We could have stayed an extra night, as there were a few more attractions worth exploring.
We did half day trips to Bako National Park and the Sarawak Cultural Village and strolled through the old city and along the waterfront. Would recommend visiting, as it probably has more to offer than the more popular Kota Kinabalu.

We loved Kuching felt it was a better option than Kira Kinabalu so much to see and you can visit nature parks that require significantly less travel than KK. We highly recommend Kuching the cultural village and cultural centre are a must!

From my view, so far most of Sarawakian are friendly and helpful, Plenty eating places in Kuching and also best to drive on the road because of the space and also the lane on the road is much bigger than in peninsular Malaysia.
I like the parking system at the mall, eco-friendly absolutely good to use to all facilities. For dinner / dine in i would like to recommend for the people to go to Top Spot Food Court for dinner. Plenty seafood you can choose from and the food is absolutely good to try (Malays, Chinese, and Thai Food). Muslim owner also there you can try,
best shopping mall is at Plaza Merdeka, and Aeon Mall Kuching.
Easy access to walk down to Water front, and also plenty eating places around, lots of shops (kek Lapis + Handy Craft / gifts) and amazing view along the river + Sarawak Assembly Building & Jambatan Darul Hana. Nice to go on the cruise as well for relaxing and enjoy the views along the river in Kuching.
perhaps next time i can avoid the traffic jam especially during peak hours.

I was there on family visit after 20 years, I was shocked of the ammount of new hotels built in Kuching, thats a bit sad because it brings down the nostalgy of kuchings old city centre. Waterfront has been improved over the years and is a happening place at night for nice streetfood and a walk.
There are river cruises to be made, and ofcourse bookings to wildlife centres, cultural village, there is lots to do in Kuching.
A) checking-in was well-coming, excellently professional and efficient within 5 minutes managed by Mr. Nasrizal.
B) Miss Irene was extremely courteous and ensured our requests were met and to our satisfactions.
C) Breakfasts were nicely presented and more than met our expectations.
D) The lounge dinning area is spacious with spectacular views of the city of Kuching with comfortable ambience.
E) Staff members, in general, were professional and attentive.
Pullman Hotel Kuching is highly recommended for a pleasant stay.
Room was cozy and restful for my sis and i. Breakfast was just "OK" for me but my sister loved the variety of food every morning. The location was good for Kuching Marathon runners. The slight distance to the START line offerred more peace and calmness prior to the event and a chance to "warm up" on the way there at 1:00AM. I like very much that the hotel served fruits and mineral water for marathoners at the lobby. Thank you.
Every thing about this hotel. The location is superb beginning with its position on the waterfront. From our room we can watch boats plying on the river, the dainty village houses, the state parliament (which is well lighted at night!) and the iconic Mount Santubong.
The rooms and bathrooms are well maintained and very clean. The airconditioning works very well, so is the wifi.
It is at the waterfront, located in the centre itself. You can have a boat ride to cross the river. There are many restaurants around. You can also walk around the waterfront. it’s pretty nice. The staff are really nice and helpful. Wifi was pretty good. There is 711 store open 24/7 next to the hotel just in case.
Great location to explore Kuching city. It's new hotel so everything is new. Basic amenities like water boiler, hair dryer is provided. Bed is comfort and room space is consider spacious for Asian traveler. Surrounded by local eateries, fine dining restaurant, bistro and local attraction.
I've stayed at the waterfront hotel twice now, and it has become my favorite whenever i go to kuching. I love their location (mall is right next to it with close proximity to the waterfront). I also love their breakfast spread, room size and general ambience.
The owner of the Guest house is Very friendly. We are feel like home. The room is very comfortable. The hotel is surrounding by Restaurant and one of restaurant is 24 hour. The location is 1km near the waterfront..The bathroom is clean.Good budget Stay.☺️👍👍

the rooms are very comfortable and make you feel like you are in a 5 star hotel. To get to the city center is very easy. you only have to walk a little in 5 minutes and can use the 'sampan' service to get to the other side and its only cost you RM1
The hotel was located at very strategic location. Easy access to anywhere in the Kuching City, especially with Grab & Maxim. The room was clean & quiet. The daily breakfast was really good. Recommended!
Near the kuching city and having a halal restaurant(24 hours) near this mega in. Every single day their workers clean the room if we stay hear more than one days. Overall this hotel is good.
Cleanliness of the room, especially the toilet and shower room. The hotel is located at the quieter area of the city. Bed is comfortable too. The AC temp is alright for a good night sleep.
The location very strategic bcse center at kuching city, lots of facilities very useful for us during short vacation at kuching, sarawak. Last this hotel suitable n worth for rent.
Helpful staff. Gave us 2 connected rooms which was very useful. Helped us with the laundry. Great location of the hotel, just at the waterfront and between old and new chinatown.
Very nice hotel and good location in Kuching. The rooms were very clean, air conditioning was good, on-suite was good. Slept well. Its a good location for exploring Kuching.
