Spacious apartment with a rustic feel due to the designs of the other houses around it. Simple, clean and a great base to locate yourself to explore Scopello and environs, including national parks. The hosts were friendly and there was a very chilled atmosphere. The pebbly beach was a short walk (500m approximately) down the hill to get there - slightly more effort to get back however. A selection of bars and restaurants in Scopello village, but if you want a wide choice, Castellammare del Golfo is a short drive away.
Offering garden views, Baglio La Riserva in Scopello offers accommodation, a bar, a shared lounge and a garden. The holiday home features both WiFi and private parking free of charge.

Scopella is worth a visit.
Scopella is worth a visit. The coastline is spectacular and the villages charming. Tonnara is an old tuna fishing village with a hotel and accommodation with private and public beach. You’ll need a car and comfortable walking shoes. A lot of the coastal areas are privately owned but you can buy an entry ticket to access the beach or walk the coastal trails.

Scopello is beautiful and the baglio is very atmospheric.
Scopello is beautiful and the baglio is very atmospheric. The beach at the Tonnara can be crowded in high season so we did not go (we had been before) It was extremely hot in July when we were there so we just relaxed rather than travelling around, but from previous visits to the area we know it is well worth visiting.

The little town of Scopello was worth a visit and there were some lovely restaurants and bars there as well as little local shops. Loved the views to the ocean from this quaint village. The village was easy to walk around but parking is on the edge of the village. We had a lovely lunch at La Terrazza but the staff could have been a lot friendlier and it would have made the experience.
Dinner at Tenute Plaia Agriturismo was a wonderful experIence from the staff to the food, the view and ambience. I would definitely recommend this venue.

This tiny town has been discovered and has been shifting from a place locals and italians go to the anonymous and sometimes joyless middle end tourist. The food and services are excellent especially Made in Scilia restaurant and the scuba snorkel outfit https://www.cetariasea.com/. The Zingara reserve is goreg.ous, if mobility is an issue take Vittorio's boat ( above).
For a fun time try the Chiringuito for pizza or just drinks and spontaneous entertainment.

It was chilled but had enough to do for a few days or even a week. There was a great choice in gorgeous restaurants and bars. We loved the pastry shop in the square which was great both in the morning for breakfast and in the evening for drinks. They also have a great choice of ice creams! Most of the restaurants have amazing views, our favourites were Bellevue and bar Nettuno. Short walk down to the Tonnara and a longer but still short walk down to two other beautiful beaches. Also close to the nature reserve which would be fab for hiking in the cooler months.
I liked the ambiance the absence of ultra modern lines. The bathroom was beautifully tiled in wonderful colours. Around the walls were authentic paintings in different styles, not the usual boring hotel pictures. The views from the breakfast terrace were unimaginably beautiful. My room was spacious and the best bed I’ve slept in. Everything was up to date while also being Sicilian. I wish I could have stayed longer to explore the surroundings and the beaches.
Exquisite location but must have a car or taxi from airport or Castell Mar di Golfo.
Small enclave of holiday homes very close to semi private beach and a short hike to charming Scopello.
The agency rep was delightful and considerate. Do ensure you understand the top gate process and access code especially if a taxi is picking you up.
Our second visit not our last. Please tip the staff and beach Cafe fellows!
The location full of olive and fruit trees. The hotel decor and ambiance was precious. The breakfast was excellent, and the ladies serving were very friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive to us.
The room was comfortable and very clean. The shower was great! the cleaning lady very nice and polite.
The pictures below are mainly the property; Nevertheless, the bedroom are bathroom are great as well.
The best holiday rental we have ever stayed in. Beautiful countryside location but not far from the beach and Scopello. The house is very charming and the gardens are an amazing place to hang out. Giuseppe is a great host. On arrival there was food to get us started including olive oil made from his own trees and he often dropped in fruit. Could not recommend this place more highly.
The dream accommodation in Sicily for us - a tiny stand alone cottage in the country with sea and mountain views but just a few minutes walk to the most charming town possible. It is stated clearly that there is no wifi so that may be an issue for some people but my partner had data and I enjoyed 3 days of digital detox in a stunning surrounds :)
Antico rustico was a lovely peaceful home for our holiday in West Sicily. Well connected to the beautiful beaches and towns such as Scopello, Castellammare and San Vito. It was clean and tidy and everything worked fine. An independent cosy house that allowed for much privacy and quite. Wonderful the outdoor shower overlooking the beautiful gulf.
Excellent value for money. Stayed before the season gets super busy and had the pool pretty much to myself! Decent breakfast and clean room. Scopello itself is also lovely and the hotel is right next to an array of nice restaurants and bars/cafes.
You cannot believe the views from this lovely B and B nestled up in the hills above Scopello, they are just gorgeous. The room was clean and comfortable with a sea view and the breakfast was great too.
Of course the view quiet and the key elements.
The friendly welcome was also key, so was the location near Scopello / Zingaro and Segesta
Happy travels in the winter,
Georges
Staff were helpful and quickly resolved electrical/gas issue with oven by replacing it
View is very beautiful
Location- close to Zingaro and 25 minute walk to Scopello
The location must be the best panoramic view in Scopello, we ate many dinners looking out across the sea, which the square in Scopello does not have. A real treat!
Scopello itself is absolutely beautiful and the neighborhood of this hotel is charming. The pool is gorgeous. The room was spacious and had everything necessary.
