Set on Portovenere's seafront, this hotel features a terrace overlooking the small port and Palmaria Island. Set in a 17th-century monastery, it is a few steps from the town center.

This was our first time visiting Porto Venere. The apt was more than we expected.
We were only there for 1 night but next time we will stay longer. The apt was very large, bed and linens very comfortable. For us, who love the feel of ancient cities, with the comfort of modernization it was perfect.
Marco is a charming man. We would have like the opportunity to become better acquainted.
The only thing I need to warn travelers about are the stairs. You will be in a ancient walled city. Old stone streets and large stone stairs.
The perfect place to stay while visiting Cinqua Terra especially by sea as the ferry is right here at the dock.
Just a few steps from Spiaggia di Arenella and a 5-minute walk from Spiaggia dell'Olivo, YachtAnnablu features accommodations in Portovenere with a shared lounge.

My initial review was mistakenly for a previous B.Com property in Rumaggiore. Apologies. Staying in too many B.Coms ! All in a sequence.
La Calata was the best we stayed in all trip. Really excellent. Friendly caring host. Met us in the street to help get the right door. Fantastic place. Lovely views. We’d stay again - any day. The facilities and comfort couldn’t be beaten.

It's in a beautiful setting but, to visit Cinque Terre, you'd be better off somewhere like Levanto or in one of the villages inland, which are very quiet but lovely (and a quarter of the cost!) Even in late September and some awful weather, Porto Venere is packed with tourists and people from cruise ships so it's harder to enjoy it.

The Grand Hotel did not disappoint.
The Grand Hotel did not disappoint. From the moment you walk in you feel genuinely welcomed, wonderful staff, nothing is ever a problem. The view from our room was delightful, looking across the water to the beautiful old buildings of Portovenere. The breakfast was incredible, so many choices. The terrace was a lovely area to spend time for a drink as you take in some sun and the view or for dinner under the stars. We stayed 4 days and I was not ready to leave, highly recommend.

Place is a nice resort with views over looking island and La Spezia bay. Except at the departure port for Cinque Terre boat, there are not too much crowd.
Nice ruins of a castle overlooking the sea, old Church and a Grotto.
Fine restaurant & bars.
Easy to park if you pay
You can relax there after hectic / epic day visit in the Cinque Terre!
Nice beach on the Island

This is my favourite new region in Italy!!
This is my favourite new region in Italy!! Captivating views around each corner of the coastline, breathtaking rock formations and boats zooming to and from. Soothing to sit amongst the coastal life. The villages felt very authentic and less touristic than other places that are this beautiful. Can’t wait to go back :)

Good base for visiting the Cinque Terre by boat.
Good base for visiting the Cinque Terre by boat. Day ticket for Euro 37 to see and visit four of the five. Public beach a few mins walk from the apartment was great. Many restaurants nearby although not impressed with a few, La chiglia, il Timone, rubbish!
We arrived lunchtime on Saturday and spent hours in traffic queues trying to find parking. Davide was really helpful when we asked for help, very thankful to him.
Fantastic localization in the old town of Portovenere. South entrance (by boat, trekking...) to the 5 Terre area.
Small (as the all historical buildings in this area) but fully renovated and cozy apartment with beautifull view from the top roof terrace on the bay. If you want to feel this town :), I fully reccomend you to select this place.
Apartament super clean, fully equipped with very helpfull and comunicative owner.
Thank you! 2 nights was not enough for us. Stay longer! Next time we will... :)
What is not to like? The apartment is centric, the units were extremely clean! Silvano and his wife are great people that make you feel right at home. Silvano helped carry all our luggage to each unit, and was always extremely attentive. They made us a delicious breakfast each morning and they provided specific recommendations and experiences for Portovenere and Cinque Terre - from where to go, how to get there and where to eat!
Everything: location, balcony, wide bed, clean bathroom. We were extremely happy for the electric drying rack - after a hard hiking day it is a must when its raining outside.
We arrived to Portovenere without a hotel booking and after we booked this place sitting in a bench in the harbour, the owner contacted us in a few minutes and sent directions to find the right place. Very good communication.
I really reccomend this place.
The triple room has much more space than a hotel room, with your own kitchen. The interior is not luxury but very nice and clean. A highlight is a huge terrace you share with may be one or two families, so it's like your own terrace with sea view - just perfect. The beach is right outside the building. Also the restaurant and bar. And you have parking right in front included, which would be a big problem otherwise.
We (a couple) had a wonderful stay at Colonna 24. This was mainly because of the very clean and modern rooms, the perfect location and Giovani, our host. He took really good care of us: He helped getting our luggage from the parking to the hotel, he gave us great tips about restaurants, he helped us planing our trip to cinque terre and he even went out and got soy milk.
Thank you for this memorable experience
The location and its surroundings are perfect: for relaxation, hiking, gastronomy and attractions. Although Porto Venere is not part of the five small villages of the famous Cinque Terre, it is located nearby and boasts an equally stunning coastal environment. Porto Venere is a real gem on the Ligurian coast, and an ideal location for those interested in history, culture and stunning coastal scenery.
we really really loved this property! the location in Portovenere was perfect, the room was very clean, bed was comfortable, and the host, Fabio, and his wife, Paula, were so so so kind! They gave us recommendations on what to do, helped us figure out the bus system, and were so nice to talk to! We recommend staying here and will come back for sure next time we are in Italy!!
A BEAUTIFUL B&B at the top of a hill overlooking the Portovenere harbor. The front garden is dreamy and a gorgeous place to read, have tea or breakfast, or look at the view. Big, clean, comfortable rooms that feel very modern and well cared for. Everyone was very friendly and helpful at check-in as well. We only stayed for one night but wish we had been able to stay longer!
From the time we arrived to the time we left the staff was over the top generous, helpful, welcoming, kind. They were fantastic. The food at the restaurant was some of the best we had in our trip to Italy. We had a welcome card, a bottle of Prosecco in the room. The view of the bay was amazing. If we come back to Porte Verne we will stay at the Grand Hotel.
Maison Violet is a wonderful accommodation to stay in. Out of our many holidays, this is one of our favourite places. It is quiet and peaceful with stunning views of Portovenere and the Mediterranean sea. Portovenere is a beautiful, calm and interesting town to visit. I would highly recommend staying in Portovenere and specifically Maison Violet.
Very beautiful room in a castle overlooking Portovenere harbour. The room itself was basic, clean and comfortable but it's the charm of climbing up through narrow alleyways with spectacular views along the way to the room, superb! A previous review said the owners were cute but that is an understatement, they are truly adorable!!
My partner and I met at the beach and for our anniversary I wanted to offer him the same scenario again. the best part of our elopement. the best lesson received? Eleonor's passion and grit in her work, like in a luxury hotel, prevents the need at 360.
Cleaning staff always pending and beyond, crazy perfume !!
Barbara, our hostess, is the nicest 'perrson on earth and very helpfull all through our 5 nights stay
The apartment is typically Italian. The neighbourhood is typically Ligurian.
We visited Cinqueterre from there, remark that Portovenere is nicer!
Very well situated in the heart of Portovenere. Nice little house that we had to ourselves. We were there only for an overnight stay so we didn't use all of the facilities provided but it would be a good choice for a family or for a longer stay
Modern, clean, comfortable and beautiful apartment.
Garage is very convenient.
There are lots of stairs, but still worth it for the view!
Short walk to Portovenere old town with bars, boats, shops, and restaurants.
The staff were kind and helpful. The swimming pool was great. The breakfast was really good. It was also convenient to have a good restaurant at the hotel as there are not many good ones in a walking distance.
Barbara was very helpful and went above and beyond to help us get settled. Such a lovely home and lovely town. Don’t think twice about booking your stay here.
