The location was a perfect central spot on the Amalfi coast to visit key places such as positano and ravello. We were always able to return at night to our quiet safe haven at Mena’s place in cefalu. Mena also went out of her way to offer fresh bakery items for breakfast every morning

Stella Maris is within walking distance of the village center, restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, and the beach. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The host was very kind, and she acted quickly to resolve issues. A major plus for me was the canarino, who lives above Stella Maris, singing his heart out on my last morning in Cetara.

Don’t overlook the hotel restaurant for dinner, as the quality and prices were excellent! Just make sure you have early reservations if you don’t want to eat at 9:00!
The front desk was instrumental in denting us a great boat for $200 for the day allowing us to skip the traffic and see the Amalfi Coast from the water! You can get with a skipper if you like! They even picked us up at the hotel dock so very convenient!

Cetara is a great place to feel the Italian way.
Cetara is a great place to feel the Italian way. The small conversations with the locals and not to overwhelmed with tourist (April / May) and this helps. We felt that Amalfi is nice but to over rated. Cetara brings you back in time.

CETARA is a cost-effective option for accommodation on the Amalfi Coast. However it is a very small fishing village and hence nothing much to do. We found that the quality of restaurants were not up to our expectations although the prices were very high.

Great location for exploring the Amalfi coast due to good Bus and ferry connections. Also not as crowded as other places on the Amalfi Coast, so great for going to the beach and to restaurants. Pompei, Vesuvius and Ercolano are also close enough to visit from Cetara on day trips.

The apartment is very modern and the kitchen had everything you needed. The finishings were high quality and the place was spotless. The location is about 500m from the ferry up a gentle hill. It is located on the main street within walking distance to many great restaurants. The host was so accommodating and very helpful. He responded quickly and helped recommend a shuttle too. This is a fantastic place for a short visit to Cetara. The only downside was the place was a little closed in as there is no balcony and only a few small port size ( 2’x4’) windows. There is a bench right outside the door beside the common staircase leading up to other homes to get some fresh air. Cetara is a beautiful town with very kind welcoming people.
Amazing view and the property is an oasis to just walk around in. The hostess met us and took us and luggage up the mountain on a golf cart. The home was super clean and beds very comfortable. I would suggest bringing drinks and snacks and enjoy the balcony and views. There is plenty of parking and tour drivers can find the location easily. The town can be visited by a local taxi charging 1 euro per person. Cetara has tons of character, good food, parking, and friendly people. Access the Amalfi towns north is very easy.
The room I was in had a fantastic view of Cetara and the ocean. The owners were very kind and helpful. They replied easily and in English. The room was very clean, had lots of storage, and the bed was very comfortable. The owners were helpful and receptive when I had a travel emergency and needed to stay one more night. I really enjoyed the breakfast in the chocolate shop about 3 minutes away from the property. They have excellent brioche (croissants) that can be filled with things like local lemon marmalade.
The location was great in the perfect and quiet little village of Cetara (Perfect to explore other towns of Amalfi too). We had a beautiful little glimpse of the ocean from our windows. Paolo was so kind, my friends and I couldn’t catch the bus from Vietri Sul Mare as a road closure meant the bus wasn’t running and when I reached out he offered to provide transport to Cetara! He also gave as a recommendation for a beach which has been one of our favourites of the trip. We loved our stay, thanks Paolo!
Cannot discribe how nice this hotel is. The view is extraordinary. You are literally looking at the sea and nothing else. Most beautiful view ever. The room was a very good size. The town of Cetara according to us was the best on the Amalfi coast as it was not as crowded as the others. The restaurants were great and not pretentious and expensive like the ones in the other towns. We really enjoyed our stay. You can spend hours on the hotel balcony.
If you prefer to sleep outdoors under lemon trees rather than in a hostel or B&B, Roberto and Viola are the right people for you. They welcome guests like good friends. The tent is big and the mattress super comfortable. You can feel the love for detail at their campsite. Cetara is a wonderful place and not as crowded as Amalfi and other places. Mille Grazie Amici
The location of the hotel was very close to the beach, bus stop, restaurants and mini markets. Luigi the receptionist was very welcoming, nice and helpful with any issues such as giving us alternative Wi-Fi networks due to bad weather. He also helped us with translating where we needed to go with taxi companies hours after we had already checked out.

Very friendly mother and daughter are running this wonderful B&B which is in an excellent condition. Breakfast is served with the best home made pastry. The terrace is big and well equipped. Location is perfect (in a quiet area and far enough from the busy road). Would stay here again when in Cetara.
Vibe and view was perfect. Lovely local touches and thoughtful provisions. Clean, had everything we needed. Friendly owner. All as described. But really, nothing could beat opening up to that view every day. Cetara was a perfect spot to stay in on the Amalfi coast.
I have never reviewed someone here, but this host was really nice for us. He did a small tour around this beautiful village. It was one of the cheapest hotels in the amalfi coast with the sea view and we got a pick up, small tour and nice breakfast. 10/10
Cetara is a great location for travelers that wants to be at the Amalfi Coast. If you are traveling without a car, you can take the bus really closed to the hostal. So that’s great. The breakfast is good but they offer fruits is not that great.
Cetara is a super nice place to stay and do day trips to places like Amalfi, Positano or Capri. The B&B is perfectly located, super cute and the hosts were so so nice and made us feel at home right away. Also the breakfast was amazing!
Our stay was perfect! We loved it!Olga was so helpful!Grazie mile💐😍😊We loved the small village of Cetara and the best place to eat is Pizzamare right next to the sea port!
Make sure u rent a car to experience the whole Amalfi coast😍
Francesco was extremely kind. He responded promptly and was very helpful. Although the place is small, it has everything you keed for a comfy stay. Also, the breakfast was probably the best of our stay in Italy. And we loved Cetara!!
l love Cetara and I am so glad i can stay at MARINELLA. This is the BEST place one can stay at lovely Cetara. checkin and checkout super cool. I will come back to Cetara and I will only stay here at MARINELLA when visiting again
The location of the apartment in Cetara is excellent. I had the upper apartment which has beautiful ocean view as well as mountain view. Could not be better! The apartment was clean and beatiful and very well organised.
Tucked away on a quiet part of Cetara on a small farm in the mountains, so peaceful. Francesca and Liliana couldn’t be nicer and more helpful! I would love to stay there again when I come back to the Amalfi coast
The hotel was nicely decorated and had a very genuine vibe. The staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were cleaned on a daily basis and towels were changed every day (even if you left them hanged to reuse).
Comfortable and clean house, attentive and welcoming host mister Nicola. Great location in small and beautiful Cetara.
Cetara has the advantages of being easy to reach from Salerno, and having a port.
